  1. He might have been told there will be money available in Jan when he became our manager. Everton’s 10 point deduction has changed things for many clubs since.
  2. You said cracks were papered over and talked about Coady, while seemingly forgetting all the successful signings we made in the summer.
  3. Yeah Mads, Mavididi, Winks, Cannon and Fatawu were all shocking signings. What a state we are in. Clubs must be laughing at how bad we’ve done this season!
  4. I’ve not seen Leeds or Southampton bringing many in, despite needing players more than we do.
  5. Think a few of you need to head to bed and get some rest. Shouldn’t be getting so wound up about not signing a player for a few quid when we are 10 points clear at the top of the league! It’s clear that all teams are struggling to bring any players in.
  6. I’ll quite easily defend him. Made some great signings in the summer that has got us into the position we are in now.
  7. A lot has happened since he arrived here. Everton have been hit with two FFP charges, including a 10 point penalty and Forest one. Maybe he was given an indication in the summer that there would be money to be spent in Jan, but things have changed? We won't know all the conversations that go on behind closed doors. However, back to my original point and people are getting far too wound up over whether we get the Sensi signing over the line or not. It's unlikely he will make or break our season.
  8. Not sure. You'll have to ask him. I think he is well aware of the financial restraints we have though.
  9. People definitely need to relax a bit. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen!
  10. Very different financial situation when you have been relegated.
  11. It’s not just been about injuries. He’s had plenty of chances when fit in the last five years. He’s had a decent 45 mins. Let’s see if he can back that up. Would still ideally like him gone if it would enable us to get another player in. If it wouldn’t, then might as well just keep him until the summer.
  12. I really don’t think he is. I would prefer us to look at other options.
  13. The one great contribution in five years!
  14. He’s been a bad mistake! Contributed next to nothing since he’s been here.
  15. You would probably get another 10 point deduction the following season or two as well, as it would be hard to recover from those losses for FFP.
  16. I'm happy with it. With not much money to spend, it's worth taking the chance on him for a low fee. Need to make sure we get promoted though to cover his salary!
  17. Two years of poor performances, including being one of the worst performers in the team that got relegated, means that fans are allowed to criticise and potentially want a sale with one year left on his contract. What he’s done this season has been great, which is down to a good manager getting the best out of him in a different position.
  18. I thought he played pretty well last night. Probably his best game for us.
  19. Home to Rotherham, Millwall and Plymouth. Let’s not get too carried away yet. We were winning plenty of matches with Vardy and Iheanacho, so doesn’t mean he made a mistake at all.
  20. You don’t see players sitting 3 feet away from the opposition fans every week. KDH was not in front of their faces, so not as provocative as Mavididi. I enjoyed the celebration, but at some grounds he’s getting a punch in the face for that!
  21. That's pretty amusing! He's doing great at getting managers the sack!
  22. Pretty quick to come to that conclusion after playing twice against a couple of the weakest Championship teams at home.
  23. Millwall hardly touched the ball, so I don’t think the goals against them were down to extra pressing. The goals against Plymouth just came from a great 10 minute burst where we was so on top. So I don’t think the extra goals were particularly down to Daka playing differently from the other two. Will be interesting to see how he plays against better quality opposition.
  24. Sorry, but I just can't be having that unless I was watching a completely different game.
