  1. Different opinions are allowed in here.
  2. It’s the same with any events company. If you buy a ticket to a concert or sporting event etc and it’s cashless inside for example, then you have no other option but to use your card. They didn’t charge £5 because they don’t want people to have cards. They could have just put a blanket stop to them, but have given people the option to have one still if they really are desperate. I would imagine the vast majority won’t pay £25 and it really won’t take long for people to get used to using their phone.
  3. The £25 charge is obviously to discourage people from taking up the card option, not to make money. If it was £5 then most would pay it and the cards would remain. Technologies change and therefore businesses change their methods too. Some people probably still like paper tickets, but again times change. The fact remains that nobody needs to pay the £25. It’s so easy to enter the ground by putting your phone next to the reader. I can understand people preferring cards, but find the complete uproar against this non charge pretty ridiculous.
  4. I’m not aware of what their issues are. What I do know, is that nobody needs to pay the £25 charge as we all have smartphones. Especially the people posting on here!
  5. I think both would be lucky to get Palace. Can't see Ndidi being able to do the number 8 role in the Premier League and he's no longer good enough in a defensive role. Nacho can't make the squad of a Championship team. I could see both going abroad.
  6. I’m not sure a debate on a £25 charge that people don’t have to pay will make national news!
  7. If you are over 65, you won't have to pay.
  8. I get that people prefer to use cards. I do. Having to use a mobile phone though which virtually everyone has, really is not a major issue for most. I think if season tickets were reduced by 5% instead of increased, you would still get people on here saying it should have gone down by 10%!
  9. Firstly you will note that’s a stat from 4 years ago. Secondly, it’s not the question I was answering. Around 99% of under 50 year olds have one, like I said. Over 65 year olds won’t have to pay for a new ST card.
  10. It’s not the clubs fault that you have to pay £50 on fuel! Do you both also not have smartphones?
  11. If you get on your smartphone and google it, you will find the percentage of adults with one. Would then assume it to be a similar percentage to season ticket holders.
  12. It’s free to use your phone. I’d suggest just ditching the card.
  13. You’re a funny one aren’t you!
  14. No I wouldn’t. 5% is acceptable is my opinion, considering the amount of years we have had recently with no price increases. The £25 is a fee that nobody has to pay. So no increase there either.
  15. You don't have a phone? I'd find that hard to believe.
  16. People moaning so much about a £25 charge that nobody needs to pay! Keep moaning then pal!
  17. Some people just love to have a moan about anything!
  18. I don’t get all the surprise about Hamza playing. If Ricardo doesn’t start, it’s always Hamza in that position. Ricardo is obviously not fully fit and ready for 2 matches in 3 days. He’ll play on Tuesday I would have thought.
  19. They haven’t been playing in Europe and challenging for a Champions League spot, so their wage bill is going to be much less than ours.
  20. I enjoy watching us win games, so was very happy with the style of football that kept winning matches, especially up until the new year. I don’t pay my money and just want entertaining matches. I prefer seeing wins. I loved the fact that we could grind teams down and it always felt like we would win the game late on. We scored so many goals in the last half an hour and hardly let one in during the first few months. Things have obviously gone downhill since and I would prefer Enzo to be able to mix things up a bit more and not be so predictable. Also be more creative with substitutions. Promotion by any means was what was needed this season and we are still top of the table with a game in hand on Leeds. We need to get over the line and can worry about next season then.

If we go up, there will be no transfer embargo.
  22. I can’t imagine us going in for Casadei again. Chelsea left us short by recalling him unexpectedly and then not playing him. He would have learnt a lot more staying with us and playing regular football with Wilf injured. I don’t think we would let that happen again.
  23. We wasn’t in the Premier League when they changed the rules to punish clubs sooner.
  24. Except this new rule would also help clubs further down the table, like us, Everton and Forest.
