Our fans will just find something to wind the opposition up. It is usually unoriginal or dull but it usually isn't political, social, economical or anything like that. We are a politically split fanbase from a variety of areas. There is genuinely nothing sinister or deeper about any of it.

We have been in the Premier League for a decade and have ended up with this squad. Even more remarkably, most of our better players were signed outside of the division (Vardy, Hermansen, Winks, Fatawu).

I hope Van Nistelrooy doesn't stick with him on the basis he thinks Ward can get back to form. Yesterday were prime examples of the problem from two years ago and the goals conceded. This isn't like Ian Walker from 20 years ago- a decent keeper going through an awful run- this is Danny Ward all the time.
