There was a 50 over competition available for these players to play in. It didn't clash with any international cricket. A great chance to get familiar with the format. But no, the coin from made up cricket was too irresistible.

Not mathematically but it means we would have to beat Pakistan, India and Australia in the next four games and hope the likes of New Zealand and South Africa fall apart.

Kels was silly to do it but totally understood his annoyance. Their CBs had free rein to impede him in any way possible.

There isn't enough vocal backing. The general air around the place is much better, the crowd is supportive and enjoying itself again but it isn't translating into a raucous atmosphere that the team and manager deserve. I would say that going to matches is good at the moment but more could be done.
