Exactly. You can win both domestic cups in fewer matches than one European competition. The domestic game has not increased the amount of matches in a league or cup for over 30 years (20 to 22 teams in the top division in 1991, back to 20 four years later). The League Cup has removed two legged first and second round games and only two rounds of the FA Cup have replays for PL clubs. Europe has bloated the calendar.
