  1. Okoli-esque defending
  2. Great to see Zimbabwe on this stage again.
  3. So anybody under 25 cannot have an opinion? You'd hope those that get outraged by ageism towards the older generation will be similarly opposed to that stereotyping.
  4. A lot of interest in the club returned in 2014. Crowds increased and the brainwashing started then. I'm sure some bought season tickets because it made sense to upgrade from a membership or general sale availability would reduce but I've no doubt we had a growth of "fans" who aren't really that bothered, then the title win occurred and it was almost complete. The ownership are given God-like status. We have always had fluctuations in attendance and interest due to performance and status on the pitch but what you are seeing here is how different the outlook is depending on your experience. A lot of us are on here because we care about the club and the sport, others just like it or take an interest in it.
  5. Martin O'Neill is very tetchy, isn't he?
  6. UFS are organised, visible, audible and passionate. Also calling out the section of the fanbase who do not like what they are hearing about the club and themselves. The media is catching on to the real issues and that little corner of the Internet still insists it is the authorities, Covid, ungrateful fans and people not applauding that are causing this decline.
  7. It is during times like this you wish we had achieved the success we were very close to in the Sixties. Then a few more would have seen the glory days, others grown up with tales and we might not have the morons making the little idiot bigger than the club.
  8. It is why he will never go. Adulation and a free pass even when the club is on the brink.
  9. Did all the worshippers gather at the statue?
  10. At least by him being there the staff got to sit in the front row.
  11. Nowhere to be heard as per usual. Applaud the video, applaud at the end, post on Facebook moaning about the complainers.
  12. Second best in all areas. A crucial match we didn't turn up in. The positives from the last two matches wasted.
  13. What a boy. Looks made for this level.
  14. I am sure it is purely coincidental but these shows of affection and enduring love for the owners only ever seen to be advertised when there is a demonstration of frustration about them. I mean, they could do that for every home game but I suppose they would then be knackered and unable to back the lads as they have done every week without fail since 1742.
  15. Should have moved the game already. A week's notice isn't enough time. People need to book hotels, time off work.
  16. Even if clubs find a way of complying or the debt is serviceable, losses of £400 million and debts of £1.3 billion are eye-watering numbers and not good for the sport.
  17. More likely that the threat of the regulator increased enforcement. The rules are not ideal, they are restrictive but we knew the parameters we had to operate within. Our wage bill was ridiculous compared to our income.
  18. These rules originally came in during 2013. Everton and Nottingham Forest haven't won the league in recent years yet have had points deducted.
  19. The large 22/23 loss is still included plus we appeared to spend significantly under Cooper. Throw in the fact we breached by over £20 million so even harder to get under the limit and I would not be surprised if we have failed to comply again.
  20. Whoa KPFC will call you entitled there, Gary.
  21. Vital we didn't lose ground to West Brom given the respective fixtures.
  22. Just bin him. You saw with Daka, despite his very limited ability, that someone willing to run is crucial.
  23. The stats for running and ground covered must be significantly up. We seemed to be involved a lot more.
  24. Has stopped the rot of losing and generally being outplayed. We are also finishing games strongly. We badly need a victory, though.
  25. Much better in terms of commitment and effort.
