King's press conference explanation was unintentionally brilliant. Almost mentioned in passing and less than bothered where he had gone, let alone that he had.
-
How refreshing to have someone here who actually wants to be. Can see why players and coaches really respected him. As others have said, he looked annoyed at getting this chance now.
-
At least we have a popular man in charge. Needs to drop Ayew and have some sort of pace (Daka or Mavididi) up front.
-
Even with the poor managers we have had, he couldn't stand out. Others have done it- James this season, King under Sousa, Buonanotte last season. Five years and no memorable moments, no run of positive games. It shouldn't be possible.
-
Utterly forgettable career here.
-
Will be great for the AwayDayLadz social media accounts.
-
Even bigger risk given the manager is off (fairly soon I reckon with their form and general mood) and the next might not necessarily be keen.
-
Have no fear you Labour doubters, the political panel at work believe they will be voted out this year.

The European handball rule is crap.

At least, if we get beaten we can ring him up on a Sunday night and have a go at him.

Genuinely, how does this happen? I mean, whether we are a big club, massive club, overachieving is up for debate but that claim is factually incorrect. You can scroll through Wikipedia to prove it, or many club related books. Incredible, really. In fact, one of the impressive records we had was that we were one of a very few not to play outside the top two divisions. Dear me.

In our entire Football League history we are 22nd in the standings. A lot of our worst seasons were between 1900 and 1925. In the last 100 years we have finished in the bottom half of the second tier 12 times and in the third tier once. Think some of our own fans need educating, let alone Our Glorious Leader.

Nobody was drowning out the Sack The Board chants. A lot more booing and criticism than applause on Saturday.

If Soumare is off then I reckon he is returning.

If Covid was such a big problem, why did we change our approach and take real risks in the summer following the pandemic? Surely that is where you carry on with the trusted policy given the uncertainty?

Sean Dyche complaining about the amount of time taken out of the game by long throws. Too right Dychey. I remember when your boys used to suffer with serious bouts of cramp, the litany of head injuries, the way your keeper just couldn't find the ball and then the right spot to take a goal kick, the same with throw-ins. Nothing compared to this.

The first real anti-Rudkin feeling was in October 2017 after Shakespeare was sacked and the Adrien Silva fiasco. Over 8 years of bad feeling, less than 18 months after he "won" the league.
-
He was responsible for our title win in the same way Gokhan Inler was. There at the right time
-
We needed this. The confirmation that the club has been run cluelessly and mainly successful off the back of people long gone. We had suspected it and now it is confirmed. Just a waiting game to see where it ends up.

The PSR has been around since 2013. How can you not realise what it is?
-
Nobody thought Rudkin was the reason we won the league. He became DOF in February 2015 and would have played a role in signing three players for that season at best. At least we know what we are dealing with here.
-
I thought we were in fluke territory before (in terms of fluking the right appointment) and this has fully confirmed it. A load of self serving nonsense. Totally disrespectful to the true achievers of the success and a re-writing of our history. Thanks Aiyawatt.

I think many would back him as a choice.
-
No doubt more tweets on the way- "Another team celebrating like they won the league. Shows how far weve come #PUSB"
-
Yes, he might do well but you can understand that fans will be underwhelmed if Gary Rowett takes charge.
