Cooper and Cifuentes are similar in that their points tallies are remarkable given the performances.

James Justin sold to Leeds United - Official
Corky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
JJ was done here, he needed a fresh start. He has qualities than can show at the top level. The issue is we still have players who weren't at his level at the club who needed to go long before he did. -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Corky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If, ludicrously, he gets an extension it should be on minimal wages and as a squad filler. We desperately need a young, energetic striker. Our wingers haven't shone enough this season but playing with this bloke must be infuriating. -
I agree, it is an emotional game but this is the official, impartial coverage of the match in this country, not local radio or a watchalong. You should not have one person actively cheering on a team.

I hear Neville was at his superfan worst today. I don't blame him, it's a derby. But get some balance in that box. This isn't MUTV. Why aren't all clubs represented by a former hero? Sky really are the pits these days. You get some measure of professionalism when Chappers or Kelly Cates are hosting but the indulgence of Neville and Carragher, the predictable rants of Roy Keane are tiresome now. I am loathed to praise Keys and Gray but they knew how to do this properly, especially in the early days. This is crap.

Some players are soft but really good on the ball. Some are agricultural but can defend properly. Thomas is neither.

Christ, this is dull.

Tonda Eckert. Ticks the Southampton box and has the sort of mediocre record we admire.
-
A real shame as he doesn't deserve to be associated with our worst season in nearly two decades.
-
The worst thing about a dire Football League existence is the fact you often have another miserable match a few days later. 3-1 to them.

We want you to be closer to the exit. Take the mediocrities infesting the club with you. -
So predictable. Continuation of a truly drab season. The club needs a hiatus.

Yes, our second half record is desperate.

Several good cutbacks not taken advantage of.

The lack of pace up front is a problem. We could have gone in behind many times.

Macquarie Loan for Parachute Payments Rolled Over

The late 90s/ early 00s were an awful time financially. Before ITV Digital you had Palace and Portsmouth in administration. Coventry and Sheffield Wednesday were relegated from the Premier League in real distress. Wimbledon, before the relocation, were in tatters. Derby briefly went into administration around a year after we did. As you say, the Football League just isn't an attractive product. This talk about making all games available and removing the blackout won't make it more so. -
Got to admire his consistency. Three goals conceded in each of his last three games.

Macquarie Loan for Parachute Payments Rolled Over
Corky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We have had some questionable practices in the past but I don't think we originally set out to break these PSR rules. We gambled on staying near the top and failed whilst also being hit at the time the Premier League started to take action after a decade of these regulations. But then we could have been hit harder for what happened the decade before. The incompetence of this regime (failing to sack Rodgers, ridiculous contracts, failure to recoup significant money, failing to grow the club organically through commercial deals and increasing the stadium capacity) deserves all it gets, though. We wasted a great chance to stay as a relative Premier League force. We are the first to call out others as well. -
Glasner will go before the end of the season if they are out of Europe. I remember Strachan at Southampton and McCarthy at Ipswich announcing they were going in the next summer and both left early.
-
Or went along with it and re-wrote history when it suited them?
-
Amazing how these people who had no influence on Government at the time never flagged it up or resigned.

Is Rob Walker under the table whilst the match is happening?

Giving senseless long contracts to Vestergaard and Thomas isn't helping. We won't gain any value from them. -

Sounds like an ITV Sunday night detective show with Bradley Walsh and Vicky McClure
