  1. Pakistan are considering a boycott too.
  2. Fair play to Gary O'Neil for steadfastly remaining in these lists.
  3. Probably Mavididi or Stolarczyk. Ricardo isn't a full back any more so naturally cannot play to the same level.
  4. We should keep Calm and carry on.
  5. It'll take a while to catch up. We still view Southampton as the role model based on what they did in 2014. By 2037/38 we will have changed our philosophy.
  6. He is the fourth best CM we have and isn't a good full back on either side. His level is what he shows regularly.
  7. Thank God they are different to what brought this country to its knees.
  8. The PSR issues are almost solely our problem now. Everton have changed ownership and seem fine. Notts Forest have sorted themselves out. Aston Villa are hindered a bit but crucially appointed a top manager and put together a very good squad whilst qualifying for Europe every season. We have the same people around and no surprise the same issues are appearing.
  9. Bin Ayew as a striker (firstly). Play three at the back as our full backs are terrible. Get some pace in the team.
  10. Gary Rowett was told by Millwall and Oxford fans that his football was crap yet he's the best we can do? Wow.
  11. We have sacked three managers in 14 months ,all of whom had three year contracts and the original one still has 18 months left.
  12. Wasn't it rumoured that the squad backed the manager over this? Might not be a simple case of manager going and player returning this time.
  13. Wasn't dealt a good hand but didn't make the most of what he had. The statistics are grim and we were getting worse. Persisted with too many underperforming players. Was not working so needed to go. Why does the same person get to choose a 4th manager in 19 months, though? I await the next underwhelming choice.
  14. Aren't we still heavily agency-based as well as having very narrow visions?
  15. It is but on the flip side we would have better options now with Vardy, Ndidi, Justin, El Khannouss etc. Doing a poor job, I'm not disputing that, and I hope the next manager changes formation and personnel and increases fitness.
  16. He should go, we are terrible to watch and he isn't making the most of the few good players we have. It is still the worst squad for two decades, though. Majority of these have been dreadful for 17 months under three different managers.
  17. Yeah, we need pace and movement hugely. I would probably go three at the back to remove the full backs, put Ricardo more central or further forward and have Daka, Mavididi and Monga involved somewhere (two up front?). Continually picking Thomas, Choudhury and Ayew is ridiculous.
  18. I'm going to defend him slightly in the respect that most of these first teamers have been carried by others in better teams. Ricardo was class but is declining. Fatawu has something but is inconsistent. James isn't ours. Thomas, Choudhury, Ayew, Reid all hitched a ride on the back of better and more skilful players here and elsewhere. Their weaknesses are stark. The youngsters are promising but you cannot build a top side around 16-18 year olds. This squad is hideous but don't compound it by playing garbage like Ayew when we need pace up front. Playing Ricardo out of position which exposes him. Nelson at left back. Just don't do it.
  19. Maybe we want everything aligned with the first team?
  20. The pressure of this club is nonsense. We have been in the Football League for 120 years and over 80% of that time has been spent well above the bottom half of the second tier. The vast majority of our players have been able to cope and be better than this. Even those squads who nearly took us down (1991) and did (2008) to the third tier had players who managed to get into promotion races within two years.
  21. He was part of that but he also stuck around to dominate that division and then be a crucial part of a team on a fraction of the wage bill and hype of this squad that reached the play-offs. He put things right. I doubt this lot will.
  22. Most opposition supporters say we are the worst team they have played. There is probably a correlation.
  23. Sorry pal, if you are in the bottom half of the second division you get grief. Pleat, Sousa, Levein, Kelly, Holloway all got it. You sign up to it, you don't brush off this club being 14th in this league.
  24. Totally oblivious to what is going on around him. No sense of urgency or impetus.
  25. At least he got to sit on the front row today.
