I've never seen such a big decline in a player. It's not just his legs and pace that have gone, it's the speed of thought he's lacking seemingly now. His decision making is terrible. Gives so many needless fouls away and is just reading the game so badly. He's had injuries but shouldn't be this bad at this level surely. Definitely should be dropped for Aluko. Not getting in a full back for either side is looking a mind boggling decision now, we're so bad on both sides. Have to add I also think he's one of the worst captains we have ever had. Gsr too nice and typical of this crop of players we have.

Had dropped the mileage recently due to a hamstring strain. Did my first long run in a couple of weeks of 20 miles and seems to have held out well. So hoping it stays that way. Managed to PB my 30km too which I definitely did not intend to do, so pretty pleased overall.

Minus Ricardo being a useless donkey as usual, we've played well here. Thomas being allowed to overlap and go in the opposition half has been refreshing too

Thought my hammy was better after I managed 13km at 4:24per km average pace....felt much better. Thought I'll do a similar one today but lighter, get 4km and feel it pull, have to limp home again. So demoralising. Maybe I did too much too soon on it but thought I'd be ok. Hoping this is another few days resting now

Daka should always start over him for the fact he does actually run and press, despite everything else about his game being shit. Need to get a manager in desperately, King is far out of his depth

Starting Ayew is a joke frankly. I think Daka is ****ing garbage but at least he is where he should be and can run. Ayew just is never central and offers next to **** all but fall over. Like playing with nine men right now

Just back from a light 10km and I've pulled my hamstring about 5k in. Hoping just a niggle rather than something major. Sort of rushed out so probably didn't stretch properly

Usually clubs have a settlement fee in the contract. No way do they pay the full contract up. But knowing our club we don't have this in place

Yeah definitely need to have more rest days then mate. I learnt that the hard way over the summer where I kept getting knocked back after not resting enough. Definitely short term pain and long term gain sort of thing. Baths hot and cold do help, epsom salts too. I wear long compression socks or sleeves when running mostly all the time except hot weather, think that helps too so I'd recommend it. Hope you get sorted out but definitely do rest!
