  1. I know Rodgers is hated but stop putting our FA Cup win down to "luck". Again, we're probably the only fanbase that does this. We all wanted to win the FA Cup and we did it, regardless of how it's won. If it was so easy to win it then any of our previous great managers would have won it. Nobody puts Man City down to "luck" after beating third and fourth division clubs every season to win it.
  2. It's the players and managers that you fall in love with not ownership. I've never known a fanbase to be so obsessed, I know Jack Walker has a statue at Blackburn but it's tucked away and not bang the first thing you see as you approach. We've had some great players contribute massively to us, our history, the trophies we've won too. It should be a player or manager there at the front.
  3. I try and be one of these "I don't care" but just can't feel that way. It's sad. I don't want us to be a third division club ffs, it's a disgrace.
  4. Should be 0 if we're already down (and we will be).
  5. Two in a minute, wow.
  6. Still a great collapse though regardless. Money is all relative because clubs make more now than they did back then.
  7. Yeah I get that tbf.
  8. Easy. Daka new contract because he only needs 1 goal before he goes "go on a run".
  9. I was always disappointed we didn't win it last time. That game at Rotherham still remains one of the worse away games I've been too (they were League Two at the time too).
  10. Manchester United went from winning the top flight and Champions League to relegation in less than 10 years.
  11. Only way I'm going is if we need a result to stay up.
  12. Not sure how people are surprised, our long term vision has been horrific. Buying (overspending) on rubbish players and giving them big contacts in terms of length and salary. 90% of our squad is overpaid rubbish and it's nobody else's fault but ours.
  13. * our club.
  14. 100%. If Pearson didn’t want to come back then none of this success would have even happened, we wouldn’t have even been promoted to the Premier League in the first place without him.
  15. These are going to make us a third tier club. We’re in a graveyard with other former top flights clubs such as Bolton, just trying to get back into the second (!) tier.
  16. My optimism died this week. A draw at Wednesday and a defeat today when we needed 6 points. I’ve tried to remain optimistic as well but it’s the third tier for us sadly.
  17. All those years without third tier football. So sad. 2008 was a disgrace, 2026 is a disgrace. Back to back relegations, unbelievable.
  18. Must win..
  19. I don't think he's actually missed that many in his career.
  20. Same, ours arrived today.
  21. Be interesting who they sign after promotion but Doug King talking about wanting to make them a stable Premier League club and I wouldn't put it past him, they've been on an upward journey since he took control of the club and had to make a big decision in sacking Robins.
  22. We played Stockport in League One 18 years ago, they got relegated that season (or soon after) while we went up, by the time we got promoted to the Premier League they were relegated as low down as Conference North but since rose all the way back to League One. We are now on the verge of relegation to the same division again (if they don't go up). Had to laugh the other season when we played them in the Cup, as we were heading back to the train after the game a group of their fans shouted "Premier League you're having a laugh".... oh tell me about it...
  23. Is that the guy from here? I was near some guy with a dart board on his head at Leeds away the other season.
  24. Can't believe they haven't been a top flight club over 20 years. Their fans have truly been on a rollercoaster, less than a decade ago they were in the fourth tier.
  25. I know I did think that myself, gritted teeth, got to look one way Forest/Villa won't be the final. I wouldn't mind seeing Porto win it either tbf, like seeing Portuguese teams go far and don't think they've won a European Competition for ages either (just checked and it was 2011).
