  1. It's blind support. The same errors happening over and over again thanks to those who run the club. A manager who should not be here. Players that don't even want to be here. I didn't bother going to the Man Utd game on Sunday, mainly because of the KO time but also because I knew what was going to happen. Our overpaid players wouldn't turn up, we would get battered by an average team and ultimately not score. I've been to fewer away games this season than I ever have in previous seasons (my last two away games have been 0-4 defeats and the one before that was 0-3). Now we're 7 consecutive home games without even scoring. To me there is nothing I get back in spending (wasting) my time and money. Supporting this lot doesn't make you a better fan than those who don't want to waste time on this lot anymore. This isn't what following a team is about.
  2. We also got battered that game and it was only down to West Ham's poor finishing they didn't actually beat us.
  3. "Typical"? I'm afraid typical Leicester now is losing without scoring.
  4. Personally I would say Villa and Everton are the biggest in this Country without recent success now.
  5. They do that at a lot of clubs. I know people who have missed a couple Leeds games and being threatened with their ST being removed. Funny though because they don't remember it was the same people going every week when the ground wasn't full.
  6. He can't do anything. What are his actual strengths? Can't run, has no pace, can't win headers (despite his height), isn't strong enough. He is an absolute shit defender and I can't believe people still post positively about him.
  7. They are not their best players.
  8. Honestly I don't think there's been anyone like McCartney in modern/pop music. He must be able to pull melodies from anywhere.
  9. On the fence. Last season some of our games were brilliant but some were shocking. When we played Chelsea the other day I thought they were awful given how much they have invested into the team.
  10. I dunno man, we can't even score goals and we concede them so it's not a great recipe.
  11. I like it but it's not near the quality of a Beatles song. A song that Lennon hated anyway so I don't think you're alone in that opinion.
  12. Would we lose dead wood through contract expiration though? I'd be worried they just get new contacts. In fact I am worried about that anyway.
  13. That's not a miracle. We would be in the same exact position next season as we are now.
  14. Yeah I did think that after I just couldn't think of another example. Thing is I do get that as he invested lots of money - the amount they spent on players etc - compared to us who just relied on selling a big name player every year. I know wealth is different, mind, but this whole idea that King Power "won us" things takes away from the players and manager at that time. It's a bit annoying.
  15. Is it only our fans who do this? Do Chelsea fans say that Abramovic gave them their first league title in 50 years and not Mourinho?
  16. I don't want to derail the thread and I love Nigel but Bruce has had a better management career. A lot of his time as a manager has been in the top flight. I was talking about Hull at the time, don't forget Bruce got them promoted and then to an FA Cup final.
  17. I don't mind a trip to Charlton either. I hope they make 2nd and Stockport come up through play offs. Sadly Barnsley have tailed off.
  18. Tbf Pearson has never spent enough time at other clubs. I do believe if he didn't come back to us then he would have got promoted with Hull. He was building them nicely but left them for us either in the play offs or just outside (can't remember). Obviously Bruce was/is a better manager, and got them promoted soon after, but key players such as Chester, Brady and Koren were brought in under Pearson. One of my mates supports Hull and he sometimes likes to joke it should have been them that signed Vardy. I'm sure this stemmed from an interview with Walsh where he said they were watching players such as Vardy when they were all at Hull. I don't think any fan can deny we (and the owners) were lucky Pearson wanted to come back here. If he didn't come back I do believe we would be in this situation now of overspending on players but just be doing it in the Championship (you only have to look at what we were doing under Sven). However the owners were also good to support Pearson because a fair few people wanted him out in 14/15 (and now pretend they never did want him out) but before that, in 12/13, we completely bottled promotion after being top 2/top 3 all season.
  19. Just looked at Charlton's fixtures, they've got Wycombe and Wrexham (both away) next month.
  20. See what I said hours ago... It's unbelievable how many people are swayed with free "gifts". Even though, the amount they charge in "service fees" we probably paid for the freebies anyway! I can't believe how many people criticise protests but their justification is "DOF and people around him need to go" as if he isn't the one employing them in the first place. Mind you, Facebook is an absolute hell of a place. I'm surprised it's still popular in 2025.
  21. Vestergaard for me, I've made that clear on here, but Faes my second choice. It pains me when he makes a tackle (usually to make up for his own mistake in the first place) people round me shout "Wooout". I do not join in or even want too. Him and Vestergaard optimise everything that is wrong with the club. Overpaid players who think they are better than what they are.
  22. I didn't expect town to win. Just inconsistent which will mean they won't make the play offs but in the space of a month or so they've beaten you lot (at your place) and put 5 past Doncaster at home.
  23. How do you mean Charlton become their challenger? As in Charlton win the play offs?
  24. I'd rather go down. If we were to stay up like that then this time next year we will be in the same situation.
  25. Back to third again after Wycombe's win at Rotherham last night thankfully. Equal games played too now. Wrexham have a tough game this weekend too against Stockport. I'm sure that will be lively.
