I'd rather finish 5th and win an FA Cup than finish fourth and win fvck all. No doubt Villa fans would too.
-
Definitely this too. I see so many people on here talk about how clubs like Brighton are run. But they'll end up going down having won nothing.

Agree. I do think he was more hit and miss then bad all the way through the season. There were games where he should have had assists, Chelsea away being one of them I recall him setting up three really good chances that we didn't take. The upgrade from Gerrard to Emery is crazy. Fair play to them for doing that.
-
Helps that he is now managed by one of the best managers in the World.

Which teams are supported in your workplace?

Main teams are Chesterfield or either one of the Sheffield clubs. But I work for a company with nationwide branches so I speak to, and travel to, branches where they are follow a variety of football clubs up and down the Country. -
They have extended the away end. I think the safe standing is upper tier next to their fans, as they have it across both home and away blocks, but having watched highlights of both their home games you can't really tell.

We get plenty of them scrawny spiders, I'm guessing from our cellar, but I was reading on Reddit and apparently they kill house spiders??

Brilliant. I really like the reason for declining a new compilation album “given the number already in existence”. And exactly what I thought regarding Morrissey seemingly picking flights for no reason.
-
If we'd had brought an attack minded player on and drew the game then people would have said it was an awful sub ("why not go defensive like every other manager"), and terrible "game management" or whatever the buzz word is.

If he keeps us up job done. And I believe he can keep us up. Then readdress in the summer.
-
I have no doubt we'll score more than a Nuno team it's just keeping them out is where he is better. I don't think Forest will be fighting relegation with us.
-
Exactly what I think. It's funny reading all of Morrissey's hard fans comments though.

People like you used to say Pearson was tactically inept at this level so don't think it means much.

This is the same Maresca that also drew against Palace two weeks ago, but with a far better squad than ours?

So he was. I had Paul Lambert in my head? I do recall them finishing 9th three seasons in a row but then falling away a season after. -
Vestergaard deserved dropping for the first goal we conceded at Fulham. Not that I'm backing Cooper but the players are top flight/second tier players on a good wage. They shouldn't need telling everything at all times.

Mark Hughes was steady with them, always top 10 in the PL but I remember fans not really liking him. It's so early this season. I thought Stoke had started okay. The two games they lost previous to this weekend were two top 6 teams (you lot and WBA). Oxford are your typical promoted team, trying to make their home games difficult and haven't lost at home yet, I don't think a loss there is that bad. In their next 5 Stoke have Hull, Portsmouth, Norwich and Swansea which, to me, are more the games you judge against. -
I mean, most players aren't gonna be happy if they're not playing but I haven't seen anything to suggest Ricardo isn't happy. People are going off of articles. One of the first things he did at Forest was turn the players around and change mentality. I think he's a decent man manager and probably likeable.

Where is it clear?
-
Didn't realise they've moved away fans now.
-
Just win. I don’t care how. 3 points needed.
-
Isn’t it paid out at start of season regardless?
-
I said no different. OP "a bit more attacking at Fulham and we'd have a point" well yeah and same can be said about defending hence my post. Defending was awful for both goals but not a surprise to me. I'm not implying we deserved to win, we didn't. I thought a point would have been a fair result though and, interestingly, walking back from the game a lot of Fulham fans thought the same.
