Had a good first half season in the Championship. From January onwards this calendar not been great. £30m would buy us a better midfielder however the issue is this club would not find that player.

Good listen though @Ric Flair and Allen was good to listen too. Good insights into a very strange time.

Allen was right though, board room is left behind closed doors. Always my point when people keep banging on about not hearing from the board.

We all knew Ward is good at saving penalties anyway. It's happened here before (think we beat Wolves) and it happened when he was at Huddersfield.

Was gonna say, he replaced Foster last season. People just being lazy when they say Wrexham should go for Ward.

Awful signing though really. We need goals yet we somehow sign strikers who don't score goals.

I take your point although, as I've said before, Huddersfield had no shots on target in a play off final. He did do very well getting Huddersfield into the play offs but WBA were slightly inconsistent last season. Be interesting to see how they get on this season as they've started really well. I would like to see how he gets on in the PL.

Weird though. Martin (and Cooper here) have both got teams out of the Championship. Corberan hasn't. I'm not doubting he's a good manager but if we were to get Cooper then I'd rather not go down a division for a manger. I just wish we were more like Brighton (or even Southampton previously) that would look abroad instead of sticking to the UK.

But they're now missing that one player to stop every opposition attack with "tactical fouls". You know, that thing that Man City moan about when another team does it to them...

Vardy wouldn't do it. I'm not having that comparison. He squares up to people's faces, not behind their back. Haaland dare not square up to Gabriel because Gabriel would have had him.
