  1. I think Lampard did a lot well
  2. Yeah tbf I did laugh at that. New manager and new players should have been on there.
  3. Reid's best return in the PL is 6 goals. Hardly amazing.. Not sure why you're picking on Tielemens though. If you want to blame one player for our relegation then look no further than Ward.
  4. Not sure where to put this but I liked the fact we now have some history around the ground on the outside, instead of more King Power plastered over it.
  5. The injury killed the game, not just our momentum. We had Spurs on the ropes after we scored. Cooper didn't diffuse it.
  6. Thought he was below par, pretty much the debut of him I expected. Nothing more than a squad player (hopefully).
  7. Nice to see the balance as well, instead of us insisting on having a right footed defender playing at left back.
  8. Exactly this, and doesn't mean you prefer "hoof ball" but I'm less interested in the suicidal passing at from goalkeeper to defender when there's a man on.
  9. Would've been goal of the season. Great move, in the top flight against one of the better teams.
  10. Yeah he was, and has been for a long time. I said it before in his thread about his performances during last season. Needs to improve.
  11. Hermansen was superb, don't take anything away from him. But the best chance of the game probably fell to Vardy anyway, which he missed. I spoke to a Spurs fan pre game in the pub. He said they don't take their chances. I think post match he was right. Anyway, I thought you were one of those that refer to XG all the time? Our XG was higher than Spurs' last night. Shows who had the best chances, surely?
  12. One section determined to boo him, overshadowed by claps generally. He did clap all sides of the ground when he went off. I did notice at the game Maddison rejecting celebration. Also it was nice of him to lay flowers for Shakespeare. I've nothing against him. He gave us 10+ goals and assists in a relegated season, certainly much better than other players that season.
  13. Hermansen MOTM for me. Kept us in it, especially first half.
  14. Mavididi did more than Reid too. I am not excited by us signing Reid, hopefully he will just be a squad player.
  15. @adejo92 cheers for laughing at my prediction here. Turns out they didn’t “smash” us at all like people were predicting.
  16. Of course it was over dramatic. People were talking about Spurs as if we were playing an actual top team. That’s what annoyed me. That’s why I was positive and said we would get a result, if there was any “big” club I wanted to play first it was Spurs.
  17. Pleased to say I predicted a positive result for us, people laughed at me. Proud of the boys second half today and really pleased for Cooper.
  18. Yes. I could list plenty. Danny Rose for starters. Why are people all of a sudden pretending Spurs are this massive constantly successful team.
  19. Bloke I work with is a STH at Spurs and said to me last season, months ago, all opposition do against Spurs is one ball over the top and they're in. They will come at us today but they will be open too. That's where I take confidence from.
  20. Yeah I know, I didn't say otherwise.
  21. It's a shame those injuries fvcked him. Would be at a bigger club than us now if they wouldn't have happened. One of my favourite City players to watch, on his day, a good footballer.
  22. I've walked past him a couple of times at away games before. Spoke to him at Burnley.
  23. Maybe that was a bit harsh but mediocre at best. But that's where we are now.
  24. Because we're spending all our money on a shit midfielder from Spurs!
