It was good / lucky that Nigel Pearson wanted to come back to the club, rebuild us and eventually get us into the Premier League. Without that reappointment I do believe things would be totally different.

Everyone seems to be a football coach on here nowadays. I hate the attitude of "teams have to attack". It's what the likes of Rhodri and De Brunye come out with when they can't knock 5 goals past a team. And wanting direct football doesn't mean you're a "dinosaur" either. There's not one way to play football.

As great as 19 goals are in the league he has only done it once in the Premier League. Exactly the same as Ivan Toney, for example. £60m is staggering. I'd be wanting a striker who has scored 15+ goals consistently for that much. I'm guessing Liverpool have a sell on so will be happy.

Got back from a week in Fuerteventura yesterday. It was our first visit and we loved it, would go back again. Very warm though despite forecast (and people) warning me about the wind, thankfully that only occurred badly in the evening. Just nice to have a weeks break away from everything. We did the ferry trip to Lanzarote as well so nice to have a bit of time there too.

Arsenal were always reasonable before the £30 price cap was introduced. I recall only ever paying £20 (adult) there. Best of the big clubs.

It's because he received pictures so they were downloaded to his phone. That counts as "making" them. But he didn't actually physically "make them". Interesting to hear that Edwards asked for the guy to not send anything underage or illegal.

Social media is a massive issue with all this. Someone posts a clip or a picture, nothing true behind it, and it spreads. People believe what they see, which has always been the case with newspapers but now it's on everyone's phone at the click of a button. Although I had to laugh at the Daily Mail calling last night's rioters as "thugs", which is true, but papers like Daily Mail have been adding to the hatred year after year.
