Traffic lights are awful there, turning left out of Tesco turns onto the bypass which can back up. You've got shoppers there, then also people going to Aldi and KFC. Believe me, I've tried to get out on a Town matchday before (granted there won't be as many fans tonight).

Also you will get out of Sainsbury's far easier than Tesco.

Sorry but you don't judge a player on one game. Players are judged over a consistent run of games. Just because we beat Liverpool 1-0 once and Salah was quiet (other than him missing a penalty and us scoring I can't remember much more from that game it was so long ago). Thomas hasn't improved himself. With Chilwell, he was getting criticism but went away in the summer and worked on himself which worked and he became a better player.

With that opinion we can't call any player shit ever again. Danny Ward isn't shit because he has played at the "top level of elite sport in this country" and has also "represented his country".

For some reason we have lots of car parks despite being a town (people want to see the church!!). There is a multi story at the end of Saltergate, and also a big open car park opposite (in the middle of a junction). I would go for one of them if I were you. It's then about half an hour walk to the ground, but it's pretty much a straight run, and Stagecoach run plenty of bus options. You either need to start walking then jump on a bus or walk towards town first to catch one, but I'm sure the Gold 50 goes past the ground as do routes 43 and 44. I wouldn't call around the ground limited but I would be more careful. Tesco is big but on match day it's something like two hours max, just like all away grounds. There is also a smaller set of shops but it's probably the same thing. If you drive past the ground (towards Sheffield) there might be free road parking as there are shops up there. To be honest I'm sure there is a chargeable car park behind Dominoes, as I've parked in there to go to a nearby restaurant, but I've not tried it for a couple of years now.

Given how much Ward has cost us, in transfer fee and wages, and how bad he was for us (I do single-handedly blame him for a lot of the goals we conceded on our way to relegation) I do think he is at least in contention for our worse player ever. I used to think Josh Low was the worse player I've ever seen for us but at least he was free and only played about 20 games.

At least Bournemouth have their best bits on those panels. We have nothing aside from "King Power" littered everywhere. Most away grounds I go to have a nod to the clubs history, even Manchester City go it and their owners are among the biggest in the World.

Rice is so good at picking the ball up and running with it. He is so direct. He has done this for West Ham and Arsenal. Yet Southgate gets hold of him and makes him into this limited defensive midfielder. I have no doubt Rice is a central midfielder, not a defensive midfielder that people make him out to be.

I wanted him to get to 500 appearances for us (the record might have been pushing it but was doable). He could have had another two/three seasons here as number one.
