Premier League 24/25 Pre-season guff (misc talking points)
Fox92 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
It'd be hard to narrow but I think anybody with a connection to a government or state shouldn't be allowed to buy a club, such as Man City and Newcastle. Too much power, too much money. -
Premier League 24/25 Pre-season guff (misc talking points)
Fox92 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just fvck Manchester City off. I’m fed up of them. A club suing the league or a club suing another club. Everything is money. If it does all implode I hope it’s really soon. -
I've criticised Faes since he's been here. I happily praised him the first half of this season but his form improved with a relegation. Can't wait til we get rid of him.

We've played in the third tier once in our entire history. We won't be there in five years. People are so doom and gloom. Everything is setup for us to be in the Premier League and that's where I voted.
-
Exactly what I was thinking. Sounds dead.

No thanks to Frank. Another whiner and has also achieved nothing. Very lucky to have played in a weak Premier League again otherwise Brentford would be down. And I can't wait for the day they go down.
-
Yeah but he got an already strong squad promoted!
-
Should have asked in the interview then shouldn't he. The guy left at the first chance and we took him from a coaching position, Chelsea wouldn't have done that. Hope he fails there and I have no doubt he will. I just can't wait til he starts moaning again. What will it be this time though, the Chelsea board or the fans.

Couldn't be less bothered.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread
Fox92 replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
The division is going to be open more because of the teams coming down. They don't have as much quality as ourselves, Leeds and Southampton did. I can see Coventry and Middlesbrough finishing top 6 and maybe even an outside bet like QPR. -
Bye bye.
-
Two of those spaces have already gone, lets be honest, considering how good Manchester City and Arsenal are. It then depends on how Liverpool are under new management and if Manchester United improve. It could be a good time to go to Chelsea in that regards. I would think that Villa will tail off, maybe top 6 but not top 4 again. But hopefully Chelsea fail and don't finish top 6, let alone top 4.

Get well soon, hope he recovers. I met him on holiday years ago and he was great, very welcoming.

Graham’s Arsenal v Keegan’s Newcastle
Fox92 replied to Aus Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
No brainier for me. Graham's Arsenal and win the league. Newcastle have nothing to show how attacking they were. -
Not that I want Moyes but mid-table?? In 11 seasons at Everton he finished in the top 7 8 times (top 6 5 times including 4th once). Especially at a time that was dominated by Ferguson and Wenger, and then the arrival of Mourinho. I was always impressed with Moyes at Everton and he used to get the best out of players (Cahill, Baines, Fellaini etc). But football has changed a lot since then. His more recent job at West Ham was successful and won the Europa Conference League of course.

Blame Daka for that one
-
Hardly a mess of a squad. Most, nearly all, teams in the division would've loved the squad and budget we had.

What if it's not Cooper? All this research for nothing.

Hasn't got a 6-0 in him.

Any player that scores in a cup final is a legend for me. Tielemens, Elliott, Claridge..
-
Don't really care. He did what any half decent manager would have done last season, considering our budget and squad, and got us promoted. Not going to pretend every game was brilliant last season because it wasn't.
