As soon as matchday tickets match the ST equivalent, I would find it very difficult to justify having a season ticket and be bound to them for the whole season when I could simply just turn up on matchdays when I want to, knowing full well there will be spaces everywhere. All sounds very non-committal, but since when did this lot deserve commitment anymore?

Let me just get the next week's worth of critical relegation fixtures all summed up: Tonight, we need the teams that came down with us, to help keep us up by beating the teams that could eventually send us down. Furthermore, we would want Derby to beat Oxford, and for Coventry to beat Portsmouth. And elsewhere, in the lofty heights of the Prem, I'd rather Spurs go down than Forest. What a complete mindfook of a situation.

You watch how we play, then all will make sense. We have a recent strong history against Swansea, but it meant little today when they beat us at home for the first time in 76 years. But all the same, good luck for the run-in, yourselves and Oxford are at least showing some fight in the closing stages to warrant staying up.

Well he knows he was only on a short term contract, and that the team was already in dire straits when he signed a contract that no-one else would touch with a barge pole, so he doesn't really have much to lose. The way things are going, we could be done as early as 10 days time, so there could well be a lot of phone calls to the club cancelling season tickets before the 29th April deadline. That will hurt the coffers somewhat.
