  1. Too defensively shambolic to warrant a place in this league. A team that consistently concedes at least two goals a game, regardless of the opposition, should hang their heads in shame. Without adequate reinforcements and funds in January, the Championship and the EFL-sponsored dark abyss beckons.
  2. Don't worry, they should be bankrupt by then. You really do have to question the morality of the club right now to have a sponsor like this.
  3. Sums it up when we lose 2-0 but there was nothing but applause at the final whistle. Basically saying we played well, but Manchester City still won comfortably. Offensively much better despite the lack of wing threat, and we should have scored at least once. Serious defensive reinforcements needed in January.
  4. Not bad first half. Jakub has to do better with the goal, near enough gets an assist for his parry straight to Savinho. But we had a few chances ourselves, there is definitely a point in this game for the taking. COME ON!!
  5. Congrats Jakub, you're now (and you always were) our number two GK. Ruud may as well leave if he overlooks this lad again, did a good job between the sticks tonight.
  6. Without a unified clamouring for the hierarchy to leave, nothing will change. Mere pockets of resistance that get talked down in the stands will not be enough. Everyone can agree that the club is in a dire state, but sadly not many have the spine to campaign for change.
  7. 7 for Stolarczyk, 5s and 6s for everyone else other than the hapless Daka who gets a 4.
  8. No Ward dives backwards into the net!!
  9. Ward dives into the crowd.
  10. The defence against Wolves would have conceded at least another two. Much better in the first half, hoping for more of the same in the second. Come on!!
  11. This is just a case of how many for Liverpool, especially if he starts Ward and Justin again. They're a bomb scare, the pair of them. If Hermansen starts and plays at his best, we may not win or draw, but we could still keep this respectable.
  12. Amazingly, this has avoided being the worst team rating performance. That said, Danny Ward has taken the worst rating from Patson Daka. A rating that I sense, and hope will never be beaten!
  13. Can't help but completely agree with this. We are royally screwed with the promotion and PSR ruling only delaying the seemingly-inevitable, but we knew that without even reading this article. I've been a season ticket for 15 years, but for the first time I'm starting to consider my options, especially whilst our financially-incompetant hierarchy bring the club to its knees. The true dark abyss awaits us if relegation happens again. Top, less of the platitudes in the form of Xmas Foxes toys and beers, do your job and sack Rudkin. Or just do us a favour, leave and take him with you.
  14. I'd agree, but you could say the same for the entire defence, and others that essentially downed tools and saw out their over-inflated contracts.
  15. That was quick.
  16. Says a lot about our strength in depth if he makes the starting XI. He should be nowhere near it. Unfortunately for him, he is a scapegoat for our last relegation, and today he justified that with awful positioning, communication and basic goalkeeping skills. Booing won't help but no clearer message to the hierarchy that change, and funds are needed, or back through the relegation trapdoor we go.
  17. Unfortunately the club has a little too much sentimentality for boyhood club players, which clouds their vision. As so many have said before me, and I agree, Kasey is sadly not a Premier League player. For all his endeavour and enthusiasm, he couldn't beat a man against Brighton even if the match lasted three times as long UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT: But the sentimentality issue can also be said for others in the squad. Hamza Choudhury is another one, and Luke Thomas. Neither of these are Premier League quality, yet still remain at the club probably because they are cheap on the wage front. However, if they are not good enough, move them on for pure profit or simply let them run their contracts out. We are no worse off either way.
  18. Take a point from that game all day long. McAteer and Ayew should never be starting. Kasey can't beat his man and Ayew is practically walking or jogging. The game swung with the substitutions, and if the game had another 5 minutes, we could have ended up winning. Great point against a great side who will be among the European places come May.
  19. Ugh, he's safe again isn't he? FFS.
  20. Shoot. Think he has scored a couple of times. Back in my box. Edit: Collins John in 07/08 a rival for Roman Bednar maybe?
  21. What about Ryan Bennett? He was a disaster.
  22. Just get rid of him in January. We, somewhat, look better without him in the backline. Hardly a rapturous reception when he came on, and West Ham scored afterwards, says it all.
  23. Daka was his usual chaotic self, but deserved the goal for his efforts. Glad he went it alone and took his shot superbly, which will do his confidence the world of good. Too early to put that down to RvN, but I'll take anything right now!
  24. That scoreline doesn't tell the full story, but in all fairness, we had Mads in top form today, both keepers were. It felt like it would be a long match after we scored and West Ham took control. But they were wasteful and we were clinical. That's what separates the sides today. Great start, much to improve defensively but we made our few chances and little possession count. Couldn't say that under Steve Cooper.
