That pointless 95th minute Ayew penalty will annoyingly put a ridiculous gloss on what was an abysmal performance. That penalty single-handedly changes the post-match club narrative. It would have been seen as a largely-dominant away Chelsea performance where Leicester were never at the races, but now it is a narrow loss. This will undoubtedly give Cooper licence to suggest we were unlucky and deserved something from the game. Steve, the stats suggest the opposite. Just leave already.

Based on our current defensive standards, it's a no from me. Having to keep coming back from one or more goals down to win at least a point, is not an effective recipe for survival. When Cooper signed his contract, I thought we would be relegated. That stance hasn't changed.
