Northampton Match Thread Carabao Cup KO 3pm 08/08/2026
Bezzanator89 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Shame there is no-one that wants him. -
Close the damn thread. Don't make me do a 'UEFA' and lose confidence...

I'd rather find out if it is Hamza or not before the season starts, so I can decide whether to turn up before the season begins. PS. I'm joking, but I really hope that Hamza leaves rather than becomes our club captain.

How do we rate the competition (league 1)
Bezzanator89 replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
Party pooper alert. Call me a cynic, I don't care. But I've seen LCFC implode enough times to know that nothing is certain, and we can make the unthinkable seem absolutely possible. If there is a way to botch things up, we should be experts. On that basis, I think we should really be looking at ourselves. We had more than enough quality to be promoted last season, but down we went with a sorry whimper. Oh, and we only got 1 point from both our games against Oxford last season, so if they are in a spot of bother, then so are we. -

Unfortunately, not getting straight back up could have disastrous financial complications. We should in no way be content with staying in League 1. -
@jamfox This is why you should have left this topic well alone, that bump you did gave us all hope he was leaving!
-
200 goals, 500 appearances, the big farewell party. The line should just be drawn there.
-
It's over! Close thread!
-
So there we have it. Aiyawatt and Spudkin sent us down, more reason for them to sell up and leave.
-
Goal. Yay. Momentum for the season ahead.
-
Drawing two games to Hull and Millwall might have done just that.

As if things couldn't be worse!

It's okay, we promote from National League. -
Season ticket renewal - yes no dunno
Bezzanator89 replied to bradfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
You'd probably only see Aiyawatt twice a season on his current record. -
Absolute monster at the back. But as an unpopular opinion alert, if he can keep injury free, he could be club captain material.

Foolish optimism, finished with a touch of wishful thinking. We are relegated for a reason, the stats do not lie, and there is a reason why we were stuck with Gary Rowett, never mind Mark Robins. This really isn't personal, but this isn't the first time where I'm finding myself reluctantly dissecting your points with ease, whilst you're simply just coming across as a little wet behind the ears. Face the facts. Live in the now. Because if we keep on our current trajectory, our future could be shorter than we would have ever thought.

Millwall are nothing special, but Harry Souttar was immense. Get that rating topic open so I can give him a 10.
-
Close thread. I don't care if he plays last game of the season, just close it.
-
Souttar MOTM. Literally everywhere.

Asmir Begovic - Officially Signs
Bezzanator89 replied to ozleicester's topic in Leicester City Forum
He was wrong footed another three times by my count, and very flat-footed. Utterly useless tonight. -
LCFC 2-2 Hull, post-match thread

Step forward HMS P*ss the League (One). -
And hopefully they sign his perm too.

I just don't understand it. They're applauding relegation, failure, incompetence and under-performing. What is there to celebrate in that moment? Several rows in front of me in SK2, there was a couple in their 50s going out of their way to applaud the players as they trudged by. Not even subtle applause, it was like they were trying to show they were better fans by applauding them at the worst of times. Quite the opposite. When challenged, they backed that it is their club and they can clap if they want to. In the moment of resignation and despair, is really got to me as I'm coming to terms with back-to-back relegations and there are those that just seem utterly unaware of the gravity of the situation. It is dire, and we stand now on the edge of financial oblivion. Or maybe I'm missing something, and I just need to lighten up. Clappers, it's your right to clap, doesn't mean you are right in that time. As a matter of fact, it could not be a worse time.
-
Voluntarily? Or did his uncontrollable levels of excitement just distract you?
-
@Phil Mitchell, he doesn't mean that.
