  1. I feel like you're saying the same thing as me with different words
  2. Leeds only let Norwich have one shot in the second half, must be nice. They do have Bamford up front though which is less nice - yes, just because he's scored a few recently, I don't think he's suddenly turned into a top class striker.

"World class", "legends". I enjoy how these things essential devolve into a semantics argument Finnegan is factually right on this one though My order of strikers would probably be Cannon Daka Vardy Popov Reece Evans Trevor Benjamin Kel
  4. Literally the one stat on there that you can half rate a keeper on is save % in which he rates as 2nd That is one of the worst articles I've ever read.
  5. Fair play, hope he does well. We're probably weird in that we've got one of the weaker first choice and stronger second choice keepers in the league haha. I couldn't help chuckle at Leroy Lita being labelled a target man when he embraced Chambo and was a good inch shorter
  6. I remember us putting together many delightful one touch moves in the 15/16 season, i'm fairly sure they weren't the result of 40 passes before hand I really do think that underestimating the power of individual quality and free thinking is negative by product of favouring possession. I imagine the theory all sounds great but when you see a block of 10 men shuffling side to side for 3 or 4 minutes at a time. I'm not seeing much practical evidence to back up the theory. It especially looks silly when a team can spend 10-15 mins putting long balls into our final thirds and we're at 6s and 7s due to the unpredictability of where a ball will land. My gripe with the obsession of this style is people's insistence that it's the only way football should and can be played if you want to win and be successful. It's simply not true.
  7. Haha! Looking back, Vesty is the only one facing back to our goal when the shot is hit but doesn't anticipate a rebound. Yunus is pretty much in line with the fella laterally, although in his mind he's stepped up and knows the lad is behind him, so not a danger. Think it's probably harsh to blame him, especially as he did track his man and then did the right thing stepping up.
  8. Just watched it back, he pushes up with Faes like any intelligent player keeping line with his defence. Unfortunately Macca and Hamza are asleep and play him on.
  9. I watched it back and few times and Ipswich get back into their shape absolutely fine about 3 times. The real move starts with mads about 7 or 8 passes before Stephy's cross. The final 3 passes in the move are way more impressive than the first 39 put together.
  10. Leicester City can confirm that an agreement has been reached for Academy graduate Hamza Choudhury to extend his stay at King Power Stadium. More on this story... Choudhury: Where I Want To Be Choudhury’s Challenge – How Hamza Rose To Prominence At LCFC - Hamza Choudhury commits long-term future to Leicester City - The 25-year-old Academy graduate has penned a deal until 2027 - Midfielder has made 92 appearances for the Foxes since 2017 The 25-year-old midfielder, who came through the ranks of the Club’s Academy and has made almost 100 appearances for the Football Club since his debut in 2017, has signed a new contract until the summer of 2027. Speaking to LCFC.com, Choudhury said: “It’s an amazing feeling for me and my family. This is my home. I’ve obviously spent the majority of my life here around the same people in the same environment. I’m looking forward to cracking on now and hopefully helping the team get back to the Premier League. It's my home. To be staying here for another four years is exactly what I want.” Hamza Choudhury Extends Leicester City Stay (lcfc.com) He's living the dream
  11. I had originally typed (I know it goes against everything Enzo believes in and according to the footballing gurus on here, "that's now how the game is played") but I tried to keep the negativity out of my post for once You dragged it out of me though!
  12. Who would have thought it...people on twitter exaggerating and talking nonsense. Unfortunately it's the people on twitter that get seen and shared and then for some reason people think they're the voice of a fanbase haha. The amount of times you hear "ohhh x fans think y!" because they've read a couple of tweets
  13. Is the Leeds game being played at a neutral venue?
  14. Mads Nelson Vestergaard Faes Ricardo Winks Yunus Praet KDH Mavididi Cannon Go for it first half and try and build a lead, 2nd half make changes early on. 55-60 minutes McAteer -> KDH Albrighton -> Praet Hamza -> Winks Vardy -> Cannon
  15. He's only just signed a 4 year contract. Can't imagine he's going anywhere. Like Kingy he must be aware that nobody will pay him anything close to what we pay him and he'll happily sit on the bench or u21s taking the money.
  16. Yep a few more and maybe I can stop dreading the ball going near our goal haha It is very tight above us, so a good run could see us in there. Weve just struggled to put the wins together so far. Surely at some point we will put a 4 or 5 winning streak together. Was a weird one tonight not being able to congregate behind the goal, didnt manage to see too many coalville faces.
  17. Yeah I'd say so. Was glad to see Stenson go off early, he was running us ragged.
  18. Reminded me of the Leicester Ipswich game tonight. Telford probably should have gone into half time 2 or 3 up. Coalville came out more aggressive second half and looked much the better team and get a deserved equaliser. Whitey and the defence did fantastically considering the conditions.
  19. I'd have just started the clip on 1:58.
  20. I meant more that we're not going to have the lions share of the ball, so this passing of his really doesn't matter. I'd rather have a defender who i'm confident will be able to do the defending portion of the game. Especially as Enzo's tactics are gonna see us get routine turned over and have our centre backs dealing with 2 on 2/3 on 3 situations
  21. The last 20 minutes is more like we will play next season. There will be very few games where teams just let our defenders prance around with the ball. Keeping Vesty would be a huge mistake in my opinion.
  22. We had hotels booked and were looking to make a day of it till the FA Trophy got in the way. Will try again with Sudbury away as that looks have a decent collection of pubs I really don't fear any team in this league, if we get beat I generally feel like it's down to us not performing rather than the other team outplaying us. The only team that has genuinely been better than us in this division is Banbury. At a push Peterborough Sports when they pumped up their squad with players instead of paying their tax bill.
  23. Off to Telford tonight, another ground to tick off. Another win there would be sublime.
