Absolute class act, you could tell he was a special player early doors, his first touch and ability to take the ball in his stride was absurd. Took a year to get fully up to speed in the Prem but when we did, phenomenal.
-
Its a bit weird that it ever happened to be honest Nothing wrong with reminding people about embarassing stuff that clubs have done
-
Terrell is doing bits with Coalville at the minute, he scored or 3rd and 4th in the highlights below. Also please enjoy our very own version of Danny Ward for Redditch's 3rd
-
Looks like the Old Crown has multiple screens as they've advertised showing championship games at the same time as champions league games. First time I've properly looked forward to a Coalville game this season, it gets a bit monotonous going to the same old grounds, especially when you're watching your team perform below expected standards. Be good to check off a new ground and go into a game as underdogs.
-
I'm not sure a striker bullying our defence is a good barometer of their ability to be honest . You're right about Ash though, I feel like a sharper version of himself probably scores 4 last night. I hope he does make a difference but it just smacks of signing someone for the sake of it. Hopefully Putty isn't as bad as feared, frustrating to have Harty close to being back then losing our other full back. Deano must not believe how much footie he's played this season haha Yeah we're making the trip down, it'll be nice to check off a new ground. Currently looking for pubs close to the ground that might show the game. Looks like there's 3 that are within a 10 min walk.

He's only 5ft 7 aint he? Not quite my idea of a target man Anyway, it seems Ash has got other ideas about giving his spot up just yet.
-
If the budget is there for these two and we've not looked for a Whitey replacement then I don't think it matters what we do with the outfield. Unless we can get to the point where we stop the opposition shooting on target like we managed last season I hope Lita isn't on much, he's no better than Berridge or Cook. Hopefully he can bring a bit of steel and pride in performance to the changing room if anything.
-
You're probably right, but with the potential that Will has, he's absolutely made for that 8 role with how he can travel with the ball. I really hope Enzo rates him enough to give him a crack if he's fit enough.

Massive trailer park boys vibes

If teams could finish their one on ones that we keep gifting then that percentage would drop massively to be fair.
-
What a chance to step up for him with Wilf out. I'm sure he'll be doing everything he can to get fit.
-
If they don't want to risk a replay they can put the u18s out. 2 or 3 extra games are really not going to hamper any team unless they're in Europe, in which case they're likely gonna be playing squad players anyway. As said above, it works fine in the Vase and Trophy, there's very little crying about it.
-
It's insane, Stevo really needs to find a seasoned replacement. Like you say, if we can cut out mistakes and stop looking like we will concede every time a team crosses the ball the wins would be flowing. Even the first one, a semi commanding keeper deals with that one of the 2 or 3 times it loops up next to him. Lovely stuff from Timmy and especially TP. Should see TP back in the starting line up.
-
There is an unbelievably simple solution. If both teams agree, then the fixture can be sorted on the day, without unanimous agreement it defaults to replays.
-
You're not the first and you won't be the last to make that error
-
My main worry would be signing a keeper that doesn't mean we have to score at least 2 goals for a point most games. Reminds me of us playing Ward last season, we'll struggle to maintain any rhythn while we need to score 2 or 3 goals a game. Frustrating that we've got collectively the best attack in the league but being massively let down by a keeping and defending that would have you fighting relegation.

From the first half at least they had 2 1 on 1s with our keeper, a free header from about 8 yards out and 2 or 3 half chances in our box. That's not even counting the times they've had a player free and clean through and ignored by somebody. Regardless of if the opponent takes those opportunities or not, we really shouldn't be gifting so many. -

Make changes like we did then you have to accept theres a good chsnce you can come unstuck. Another day we should concede 4,5 even 6. We get away with it and hopefully get a Prem team in the next round where we can get an idea of where we're at. Much needed game time for some and a debut for Nelson. The win is just a nice bonus. -
Stoke playing a bunch of ressies and Brighton going close to full strength...Iverson is gonna have a busy debut
-
Their manager must be furious haha. Theyve absolutely played us off the park in terms of creating good chances and havent looked like scoring. We have 2 attacks and score 2 goals
-
Man if these could finish this could be 3 or 4 comfortably
-
Pleasant surprise, fully expected to come back to 1 0 Millwall and we've bagged
-
A small glimpse into what to expect next season when our team isn't miles ahead of the opposition Naah, its basically a whole new back line so to be expected. We will have little going forwards so if we can keep it down to being 1 goal behind and bring on the big guns we might stand a chance.

If Wymesy is setting the price point then you're done for. He probably thinks a pint of milk is £10
