LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 06/09/23 Minutes

Unironically not realising that by being part of the TIFO they're actually participating in an occasion. Players walking out of the tunnel is not an occasion- 161 replies

2 shots literally staight at her? It would have been harder not to save them She's a top keeper and should be playing for a top team tbh, but that is not a good example of her talents.

I've only seen them once before at their own show and that must be over 10 years ago now haha I really enjoyed it a lot. It's probably a testament to the band that they can put out a really solid 27 song set and people are still naming loads of other songs they wanted to hear I know they operated under the name blink-182, but if it's not the 3 of them together, for me it's another side project so I never really massive listened to the albums with Matt Skiba. So i can understand why you're a bit gutted you didn't hear more of that. Just good to see all 3 of them looking healthy and having a good time up there. Hopefully they do another tour and mix up that set list a bit in 18-24 months.

Now i'm aiming for certain fiber/protein per day I find it mad how I feel much less hungry than when I've dieted in the past. 23lb down since June. Considering the last month has included at least 1 all dayer on the beer I'm quite happy that I'm still able to lose as long as i'm disciplined on the other 6 days. The main go to meals for lunch/dinner seem to be Beans and tuna on toast Chicken, mixed pepper and skinny BBQ sauce on a slice of bread in the dry fryer Chicken, cucumber and lighter than light mayo sandwiches (oh and a healthy dose of grated cheese into the mix, purely for protein purposes ) Increasing fiber/protein intake while calorie counting has been a game changer. Had a few weeks off the gym as well due to work getting crazy so going to see what it's like if I go early doors. Could definitely help accelerate things if I walked to and from the gym rather than driving at lunch.

Haha this post really made me laugh, it's mad how football has changed. You've not mentioned one skill that you'd conventionally want from a keeper Literally the only weakness I've seen in him as a goalkeeper is that he can be a little indecisive when a ball bounces in the area. There's been 2 or 3 occasions where instead of making a decision he's been stuck in 2 minds and let the ball bounce in his box. On all occasions the opposition haven't captialised. He looks so complete already and he's so relatively young for a keeper. He's got all the tools to play for an elite team in a few years.

Saw something similar on Twitter and given it's the international break, it's a good time to reflect on the first part of the season. Best New Signing Hemansen Favourite Game Southampton (a) - Absurd game that could have finished about 4-10. Most improved player Ndidi - He looks like a footballer again and he's playing a completely new role. Improvement in fitness and being a key part of the side. Most disappointing player Casadei - really expected him to come in and take that right hand side 8 position. He still could, but it's been a slow start Player you want in Jan Koji Miyoshi - AM at birmingham, looked really direct and energetic. Tidy on the ball as well. Feel like he could fill one of those 8 roles really nicely - he only joined in the summer so unlikely mind haha Weakest position LCB Predicted finish 1st King Power gripe N/A all 10/10.

Not sure looking nonplussed when a goal is scored against your team is a good barometer. Does that not describe 99% of players? People make out that Youri was some all action box to box midfielder at the start of his time with us and then he decided "naah, i'm just gonna meander around the pitch". He's always been an incredibly immobile (for a professional footballer playing in midfield) guy who had a wand of a right foot who was capable of losing possession due to his style of play. Aside from the last few cult members that hadn't woken up, I imagine the place was absolutely miserable. You don't get relegated with that quality available unless you've absolutely killed the morale.

League One & Two - 2023-2024 Season

That'll be a cracking atmosphere -
Either that or they're looking at it relatively. Considering we comfortably outspend the division and probably spend over quadruple what half teams spend, unless we win all games in spectacular fashion there's likely going to be a team that's had a better month relative to their resources.

And yet 18/24 (75%) are within 4pts accuracy.

It's not strictly based on xG alone. If you're interested this is a decent explanation https://tacticsnotantics.org/statistical-models-and-analyses/expected-points-models-part-i Team A has xG of 1.8 and Team B has xG of 1.1 Basically they'll put the 2 teams xG into a random simulator and simulate the game say 100 times for simplicity. If team A Win 65% Draw 20% Lose 15% The xPts = (3 x 0.65) + (1 x 0.2) + (0 x 0.15) Which would be xPts of 2.15. Obviously the more games you simulate, the more accurate it will be in theory. I imagine opta run the xG stats through at least 10-20 thousand simulations.

Ourselves, Ipswich and Preston are big outliers in terms of getting rub of the green then Imagine the first 4 games are a large contributor to that

Money > Morals

Still find it weird when people said he downed tools, the guy looked absolutely delighted whenever we scored, not the behaviour of someone that doesn't care. Rodgers ran him into the ground and broke him. He's in bad need of a break from the game to recharge.

Development/Youth Squads 2023/2024 Thread - U18/U21

If they were the 2 best shots on target as well, Young has had a much more comfortable night than the stats suggest Their keeper will either sink or swim after those 2 moments. -
Seeing these in Brum 27th October. Supported by the Ks as well, gonna be fantastic. The setlist looks lively Seeing these on Saturday in Brum The fact they're being supported by The Story So Far is the cherry on an already incredibly cake!

Almost certainly Did you go to the Royston game? Sounds like we flew out the blocks

How are we getting on, compared to previous Championship winners.
filbertway replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Having watched Sunderland and Middlesborough, if we're at our best I really don't think we have a great deal to worry about. Obviously off nights, injuries, tiredness can all have an effect. As far as I can see though, there's not one team that comes close to matching us though. In terms of squad and manager, the combination is the best that this league will likely ever see. I really do hope we go and set new records across the board, we really have the capability of doing so. I have every faith that Enzo won't let standards slip and will take things on a game by game basis. If he does that and the players respond, when we come to look back on the season at the end, the result could be sensational. Take Mads, Ricardo, Winks, Jannick, KDH, Mavidi out the side long term and we may start to struggle -
Birmingham did look incredibly dull on Friday though. Whether that's Eustace's preferred way of playing or just him getting the best out of the players available I don't know. I'm not sure Wayne Rooney is the answer to them playing match winning free flowing football though

Alvechurch away in the Trophy for Coalville. I really wish they'd prevent teams from drawing other teams in the same league. These cups are a chance to go and visit new grounds or play new teams. 3 out of 5 ties are have been teams in our league. Another being a team we've played about 10 times in the last 3/4 years
