Not sure what thread this goes in, but I assume we have enough space to register all the new signings in the squad?

Jamaal Lascelles joins on deal until end of season - Official

I think there's a very good chance that could be the case. Did we not basically do this with Ramsey? I think it incredible hard to believe that someone with 19 mins football since April 2024 is going to come in and not be on the treatment table within a couple of weeks. I don't mind the gamble, but I'd say there's about a 15-20% chance he plays any meaningful part till the end of the season. -

My Newcastle supporting mates prediction is "He's injured 99% of the time and gets into a punch up at mosh" -

U18s admittedly, but 16 goals and 15 assists in 20 games is some going. -

I suppose we're in a position where we need to take this kind of risk to get the quality we need. Obviously the fact he's played 19 mins of first team football since April 2024 is a major concern. Sounds like a the kind of leader we need in the group though, like a proper leader as well, not just a banter merchant. If he can stay fit it could be a tremendous bit of business. If he's in the physios room by mid Feb though then it'll be no impact and us likely paying a guy to get treatment for 3/4 months. On balance I don't mind the risk as the positives outweigh the negatives. Slightly depressing that this is the pond we're fishing in now though. Best of luck though to Jamaal, hopefully another cult hero is born. -
Most positive spin i can put on this is that hes going to be playing for a contract and therefore should be putting in maximum effort. The downside is, if he wins a contract, he clearly gets comfortable and will let standards slip. Which is the current playbook of most of our signings to be fair.

From what I've read, we've replaced Soumare with Soumare.

That is pretty good

I read AI said "I'll cut a bitch" make of that what you will.

Prepping for next seasons promotion i assume

Generally hes been good at balls into the box, id agree, stats back that up as well. When youre unsure of yourself you try and do too much and put yourself in bad positions. He seems to be in that mindset at the minute.

Not at fault for either allowed goal. But the first one Charlton scored that was a legit goal was awful keeping

What a card tonight!! Love volk. Love lopes. Just want a great scrap. Benoit to bear hooker!

I want him to stay, were a social experiment at this stage. I genuinely think he and his weird little pal Rudkin can take us to league two given enough time
-
Christ, if that's not a wake up call I dont know what is
-
Can't even get a new manager bounce. Can't wait to hear tops interview in 3 years when he was shocked we went down to league one

Has all the makings of a top selling romcom!

I'm a petty man. I care more about Nathan Jones losing than us winning tomorrow. Rancid little man. G'won boys!
