Lived there since he signed along with the majority of the team and our manager. It’s no big deal. Training ground is significantly easier to get to from south notts than driving through leicester (let’s face it any player who wants to live in Leicestershire will choose south leics…)

It’s been an interesting second half of the season so far. The decision to move capable u18’s up early is encouraging too. Perhaps Mcsweeney was a good appointment. Especially given he’s coached all the u18’s he’s bringing through. 4 wins in a row in all formats, up to 10th in table in the league and only 5pts between 10th and 4th.

I'm not usually one to moderate... or blow my own trumpet on a theory .... but it being exactly 3 months to the day cooper left points more towards two blokes working their notice period whilst we got BBM and King into the coaching set up than anything more untoward. Might be worth locking this? As much as others have said "what have they stayed for 3 months for" can you imagine how pissed off we'd be as fans if Ruud has spent the last three months opperating with his GK coach mate, a set piece guy and no one else?

I don't quite buy in to the 'he's not done well anywhere else narrative' either. He stabalised Bristol City on a shoestring after years of overspend and missmanagement, brought in experienced players to keep them going and blooded lots of academy talent.

If he goes they’ll assemble a team from the coaches. All but the Dutch goalkeeping fella are now club employed coaches. It would be the best thing to do as well, there’s no point another manager touching us until post relegation/contracts expiring.
