  1. Lovely stuff
  2. They could have ward to complete their collection of Make a Wish goalkeepers.
  3. Why the **** are we wearing the nightmare kit? Surely too close to Villa. White would have made perfect sense...
  4. Prefer his brother Caramel Macchiato Lath myself
  5. I have zero hope for the two old fellas I've sat near a few times if VK and TK line up next to each other
  6. Just checked their last game. He decided to make a double substitution after 22 minutes at 0-0…. Maybe it is just a shit loan
  7. Watched a bit of the game earlier. Not sure what the managers style is subs wise but he didn’t make a single one until they went 2-1 down in the last minute
  8. I mean that absolutely would have been moved anyway. Probably why tigers have gone for that. Sky or BT will select all of their last 6 given how their current title pace is going.
  9. Cynical side of me says it's convenient to keep him out of harms way throughout January in case Man City or Chelsea hit the panic button and there's a deal to be done.
  10. They actually don't have the ability to win more than two games in a row, find it impossible in fact They've also spent the last 6 or so years conceding 90+ minute goals for a draw or defeat. Nige stabilised them, new guy seems fine but still hasn't fixed the long standing issues. They have a small squad, young players and not a lot of flair... and the owner has done years of throwing cash away and seems a bit done with it. I think he was particularly pissed off that Mark Ashton pissed away all his money, went to Ipswich, signed half the country and got them back to back promotions They're a funny club, it's crazy a city of that size with their catchment area hasn't seen the "Premier League" yet. I'm sure it'll come one day. I follow them as my mates a fan so know a lot about them, I think there's too much competition in that league this season for them to sustain any sort of challenge, as the poster above said they'll be between 8th and 16th
  11. He's doing the Jamie Vardy movie isn't he? Rumour has it Jonny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter to star....
  12. Bless you
  13. £5 says Pep puts his arm round Bilal at full time
  14. I can’t decide whether to be annoyed at a GK lacking match sharpness, or just continue to be annoyed by our dog shit right back. Safer to go with JJ I think
  15. Needless to say some Steve Cooper loving trees have sent me this a few times I did point out he was in charge for 12 of the 18….
  16. Sorry? The fella who was dreadful for Newcastle for 3 years? How the **** is he 30?
  17. Here's a good'un for you. Taking my friend and his young lad along to his first proper game (took him to seagrave last year). If I try and buy them it asks me to assign to different people, so i've asked him to set up an account for him and his boy. He goes on to the website, never been to a game before (he's northern...) and is able to buy three tickets, no questions asked, no need to assign to anyone but himself
  18. I've heard there's a new offering from a local street food operator... shortcrust pastry filled with chicken balti mixture, cooked until it's hot enough to burn a hole between your mouth and brain... I believe the vendors are called Pukka?
  19. I keep using the example that teams are as crap, if not worse than last year, and Forest actually only needed 27 points to survive. It'll be another low one this year I think... whether that means survival or not is another thing entirely, could well be that 18th place just has a very low points total again!
  20. I think the OP is making the point that we need another 4 or 5 wins, not 7 more
  21. The West Ham game... not entirely sure what's changed since, apart from more players being out.
  22. Obviously the caveat is, if we don't perform in those 4 games we are ****ed
  23. You're absolutely right, personally don't think they will or would ever have been the 17th placed side though, far too much quality in the squad and now they've got a manager in who can understand 7 or 8 players very well. Worth noting though they have Chelsea, Arsenal, Villa, Liverpool coming up. As I say... all about timing and picking up the points where we have the best chance of doing so. I still think Everton will be the 17th/18th side, they're always an injury or two away from disaster. They've drawn 3 in a row which has papered over some cracks and 3 points when others are getting none is massive.
  24. Some elements of the last few weeks and survival are all about timing for me. Wolves gave their new manager a game against us and a game against Man Utd to get up and running he must be delighted! We did well against West Ham and shithoused Brighton, but ultimately a run of Brighton, Newcastle, Wolves, Liverpool, Man City, Villa was never going to go well, especially with injuries. What is important is a few fresh faces in January and a minimum of 4 points from the back to back Palace and Fulham home games. I'd probably say the same for Spurs and Everton games. Ultimately January post FA Cup is our most important patch of the season. If we come out of that with 8 points, suddenly we're on 22pts and last season 27 points would have meant safety. I think it'll be another low survival target this season.
