As we were relegated anyway we may as well have stuck with Marti, cheaper option. Hindsight is wonderful.

Gary Rowett set for Leicester City meeting as next manager hunt truly begins | Leicestershire Live Gary Rowett set for Leicester City meeting as next manager hunt truly begins After coming to the end of his short-term contract with the club, Rowett is now due to speak to the hierarchy over his future, and to review his 14 games in charge Jordan Blackwell Gary Rowett is due to speak to the Leicester City hierarchy this week with the club now searching for next season’s manager. Rowett had the 14th and final match of his contract on Saturday as City ended their campaign with a 1-0 win over Blackburn. He did not hide his desire for the job in League One and said he could be “exactly what the club need” as they prepare for life in the third tier. He expects to be back into the club this week to discuss his future, but also to review his time in charge and, if he’s not going to take the reins, to help the club ahead of their next step. “I’ll catch up with the guys next week,” he said after Saturday’s game. “It was important to get the season out of the way. I’m sure I’ll sit down with the club.” Prior to the game, he said: “When you’ve been here for the games we’ve had, you’d want to help the club in any way they feel is important to them. What the club need off me moving forward, I’ll have those conversations. “I’ll be available for those discussions, I’ll be available to help in any way I can, whether that’s what I think is required for next season, what I’ve learned in the 14 games, my opinion of them. “I’ve shared those with people. It’s not as if I’m sat in my office not speaking to anyone. I’m speaking to people all of the time.” Rowett has been more and more open over what he feels the club need next season, talking of “cultural change” on the pitch, and with a need for players with more physicality and drive, and for a reinvigoration of the club’s underdog spirit. He said: “A lot of those players won’t be here next season I’m sure. There might be a few who are still here. It’s going to be a great opportunity for the club to rebuild, to reassess what they think is important, to get those cultural bits right. “That’s going to be very important to get back to that hunger and desire that won the club the Premier League in the first place. How do you find that underdog spirit back into the team?”

They do on mine and my pc after a few days I don't know why they're from a variety of sources.
-
Parker and Walsh, loved those days fully committed players, fully united crowd and a manager everyone wanted to stay. We've not had that since Pearson have we?

Throw them up in the air as far as you can or drop them off a tall building

Some form of proportional representation would help as there'd be a point in voting for someone unlikely to be able to form a government but could be an MP.
-
True but the actually voting is usually down to whether the Party in government is seen to be doing well or not. I just feel that a large majority have never really looked at what the partys are offering and go more on the gut feel the the incumbents are good or bad. They're left with the option vote for the other big party or a protest one. It's why I dislike party politics especially in it's current form.

Hasn't that always been the case with our 'two' party system whether said or not.
-
No! not another duff manager.

Didn't China fairly recently had a one child only law?

I don't recall a previous time when recruiting a manager that there was such a big split within the support. Fuchs or not we need someone that all the fans can believe in and I think that pretty much excludes most British Managers except those that wouldn't take the job, fail and your career is over, get promoted so what it's only L1 Our best hope is to recruit a newish but successful L1/2 manager along the lines of Brian Little. Unless someone knows of a genius foreign manager who'd come here.

LCFC an apology to the fans for 6 points deduction
davieG replied to Vestan Pance's topic in Leicester City Forum
AI on behalf of Top & Rudkin To all Leicester City supporters, This has been one of the most painful periods in our club’s recent history. The six‑point deduction imposed this season, and the resulting relegation, have brought deep disappointment, frustration, and anger. We understand those emotions completely, and today we want to address them directly. First and foremost, we are sorry. Sorry for the position the club has found itself in. Sorry for the consequences that have followed. And sorry to every supporter who has had to endure a season defined by uncertainty, disruption, and ultimately, heartbreak. While we may not agree with every aspect of the process that led to the deduction, we accept the outcome. As custodians of Leicester City Football Club, it is our responsibility to ensure that we operate within the regulations that govern the game. In this instance, we fell short of those expectations. We want to be clear: the blame does not lie with the players, the staff, or the supporters. The responsibility rests with us — the leadership of this football club. We must do better, and we will do better. Over the coming weeks, we will undertake a full and transparent review of our internal processes, financial governance, and decision‑making structures. This will include: Strengthening compliance and oversight Improving communication between football operations and senior management Ensuring that future strategic decisions protect the long‑term stability of the club Implementing reforms to prevent anything like this from happening again Relegation hurts. It hurts all of us. But it does not define Leicester City. This club has faced adversity before and emerged stronger. We are determined to do the same again. We remain fully committed to supporting the manager, the players, and the staff as we prepare for the challenge ahead. Our goal is clear: to rebuild, to restore pride, and to return Leicester City to the level where we belong. To our supporters — thank you. Your loyalty, passion, and resilience are the heartbeat of this club. We will work tirelessly to earn back your trust. We will learn. We will improve. And together, we will rise again.
