The player initially and mainly at fault was Ndidi. He found himself closest to Ait Nouri as the ball went to the full back but decided not to track him so Ricardo who was close to Cunha had to leave him and try to catch up with Ait Nouri. Ndidi instead jogged to get back into a central position without ever making any effort to catch up with play.

3 years of 32 year old Bobby De Cordova Reid, even though he was a free transfer, is a crime against humanity. He is however just pipped to the worst transfer since 2016 by Danny Ward.
