It’s quite unusual to watch a game for the sole purpose of watching one player…. But that’s what I did yesterday. I’m just not sure this lad is going to live up to the hype he gets here. He looks ok, but several times broke and had to check back as he didn’t have the pace to carry on, a few missed passes etc. Hopefully it was just a poor example of his play, or I’m just wrong, as he certainly didn’t stand out for me. Hamza looked ok tbf.

JJ is a limited footballer but still seems to give 100% … plenty of times people say all they want is for players to care / try, and are less bothered about quality, but then criticise JJ & Kristiansen

That’s an Interesting read, seems like there’s definitely a way. The signing of his replacement, even in a pre-contract (which is ultimately a written agreement and therefore arguably a contract) is the sticky bit I think … but a clever lawyer would know the answer and to be fair to KP that’s the one area they seem to pick the right people!

I like the theory, and I’m sure there’s a way to do this… You’d need some lawyers involved though as it seems risky from an employment law perspective (of course our board could be entirely trusted to navigate complex contracts)!

Carrying on the tradition of us having a poor left back with aplomb right now. I think he’s a player that needs a lot of coaching / instructions from the sideline. He appears to be willing, doesn’t shirk on effort or commitment, just is in the wrong place a lot!! A touchline manager might get a tune out of him

I’m really torn on this, if we get say Rhol, and he comes in and loses those 7 games his honeymoon has been wasted. I think I’d rather either stick with RVN for those 7, and a big clear out in the summer, or a caretaker for the rest of the season. Although I’m not sure why I’m worried, our board aren’t aware that we might need a new manager yet and certainly haven’t begun writing the advert for the Mercury classifieds

They attend out of habit and “support the lads” out of habit. They’re not football fans, and know very little about the club, they identify as Leicester fans and think that’s what being a fan looks like. My son would call them NPCs

Unity is impossible to achieve with 30,000+ people, even for the lesser number of active Foxestalkers (I wonder how many that number is??) it’s an almost impossible task. A good proportion is all that can be achieved. If we try to get “vast majority” or “unity” then good becomes the enemy of perfect and inertia will prevail
