Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

Weak, slow, nothing defensively, always a solid 4/10. We need to stop playing with ten men -
MKD are another poor side, if they had a half decent striker we’d have lost despite our overwhelming stats. We seem to have some better players, and have improved our mentality significantly since last season, it’s not all negative anymore. The style of play still seems like our weakness, but I’m giving RM 10 games after the end of the window before I pass judgement on whether he’s the answer. We do however, need to grind out some points in those 11 games otherwise promotion will be beyond us

Man of the match today. Well played

Nice play Bristic

Wes Burns signs for Leicester until 2029 - Official

Right now he’s looking like a tall Ayew. Let’s hope he’s got a cold or had a sleepless night and he’s not as bad a signing as he looks! -
I don’t think it is hyperbole, I was just about to say much the same
-
Crikey, just reading the Burns criticism, a gentle ball arrives at his feet with a full box…. Here’s his chance to silence the… oh never mind
-
These tactics make no sense, and as a result the players look absolutely clueless
-
Is he 27!? Blimey, I thought he was way younger tbf
-
Which side is his strongest? He seems to play more on the right, but I see him often referred to as a left back. I like Aluko so he’d be sharing time with him, unless Aluko is preferred at CB
-
The only thing I can think of is that he struggles to concentrate for a full 90… but surely that’s improved by starting him for an hour and gradually increasing his game time. He’s got great pace, decent physicality, can run with the ball ok, tackles ok … not seen enough of his passing though
-
I might be alone in this, but I think we should give him a run in the side, he looks to have plenty of raw materials to improve

Really?? I thought he had a decent game, what do you think he did wrong? -

I find it strange that you chose Winks to prove your bracketed point! -
That’s incredible… There can’t be many players in world football who can claim those stats

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links
5waller5 replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
I just can’t see this being the case … that would be every manager since peak Vardy that’s not wanted to sign a starting striker. That’s too many managers that have ignored our glaring lack of goal scorer to not point the finger upstairs -

Notts County 1-1 LCFC - Post Match Thread
5waller5 replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not much we didn’t already know, we’re not physical enough, not quick enough, no fit enough as a squad. Hamza was absolutely useless, as was BCDR. CBs don’t look good enough to play Martinball. I still hope that we sell 3/4 and bring in 3/4 before the window ends. If we buy some physicality, a passing CB or two, a no nonsense striker then all is not lost. Unfortunately we’ve been giving LCFC the benefit of the doubt for about 8 years and that’s why patience is in short supply -
Do you know him? You seem to be ok talking for him? Either way I think this dead horse has been flogged now
-
I don’t know the guy, sorry. I do know that loads of managers that say they’re going to spend time with their family end up in jobs within weeks
-
Almost every manager that leaves a club without going straight into a new job does so to “spend time with family”. It’s football code for “available but don’t try and get me on the cheap”

The only thing I find baffling is why we have 3 keepers. Two plus a youth teamer is absolutely fine as the third is so rarely used… and you can have an emergency loan if the first two are injured anyway -
I agree, I was just trying to rationalise why we may not have signed one!
-
I’m not for one minute defending the lack of signing an out and out striker… But maybe RM sees the main problem we’ll face being a low block / park the bus opposition, and therefore is prioritising attacking mids who can break the lines rather than play it behind for the Vardy type striker? There’s loads of holes in this theory, but it’s the only rationale positive explanation I can think of

Yup, and the differing value reflects the trajectory of their careers which is more down to age than ability. I’m a big Fatawu fan, but Burns won’t go missing like Abdul can
