I’ve had a lot of dealings with Wolves over the last few years. They have a record label, which is honestly like a 6th form project, it’s really dreadful and I guarantee doesn’t cover its costs. The “fashion” gives our club shop a run for its money in terms of tat. Localising content into 5 languages?? Does that make money?? I’m not so sure. I’d love the guy to be successful but this is a dreadful list of achievements for 10 years work!

I’m 57, so we may be similar ages, but that’s where the similarities end I’m afraid. It’s not the first time we’ve been shit, but it’s the first time we’ve won the league, built a squad capable of doing so, and then thrown that good work out and declined so badly we struggle to avoid League One, are deducted points for rule breaking, and can’t complete simple company administrative tasks. That’s entirely down to our disinterested, lazy, clueless owner. I’d swap him with almost any other owners, we almost cannot do worse. How anyone can defend King Power leaves me speechless, almost.

Whilst I agree to some extent, and certainly in no way blame Kingy, he has been a pro footballer for 20 odd years… he knows what managers say and do in the changing room, at training and during matches. He has experienced it, even if he hasn’t experienced giving it. If the average fan can see Thomas (who I actually thought was excellent first half) is struggling then do something to support him or swap him / the winger in front of him / both.

It really is as simple as that. Neither want to work hard, and neither has the sense, confidence in their own abilities, or bandwidth to recruit skilled resources. So we continue to make lazy bad decisions, not get round to most things that need doing, and the decline continues. It’s a great case study for any business students

Really feel for Kingy, to have to play 156 minutes with ten men in two games is freakishly bad luck. We’ll never know if his 11v11 sides would have won those games, but I suspect we’d have been a hell of a lot closer than we have been all season. I can see a much greater desire from the team, that’s a start, and maybe all that’s possible in a week and a half
