Do you attend funerals and say “he shouldn’t have driven so fast”? Just F off to Cov

3 groups of games for me that we should be able to get: 4 / 9 / 4 points from…. 17 plus our 34 should see us safe. I feel more optimistic than previously having seen these fixtures

Ipswich Town (A) Saturday, March 7 = 3, and I do mean 3, pm

I think it may be a much simpler reason… numerous managers, given the same squad, see them in training and make similar decisions. The squad being this badly assembled is the Board’s doing… the arrangement of the misfitting jigsaw pieces in a similar pattern the logical outcome of several managers -

I’m full on KP out, but do we really believe they approve formations / team selections!? -
A lot hinges on whether Skipp wins that midfield

Gary Rowett’s appointment viewed with a ten year lens shows how far we’ve fallen, the disgraceful leadership, and incompetent Board perfectly. Gary Rowett’s appointment viewed with a 12 month lens looks to be a sensible decision

To be fair, people say his spell at Stoke was poor … but that PPG will keep us in the division

22 days to make the easiest, most obvious and least ambitious decision. What do they waste the 21.9 other days doing??

Southampton 2-1 Afterthought FC, post-match thread

No, but people looking at your house would credit you with building it. You’ve unwittingly supported the Vichai built the success argument with this metaphor -
Good to see Nelson Captain when there are more experienced alternatives. Congratulations Ben

You are far more optimistic than me. I’m normally a positive person but can see nothing but continued decline whilst Top remains -

Top is lazy. Finding talented individuals takes time and effort, he doesn’t put either in. -
I’ve had a lot of dealings with Wolves over the last few years. They have a record label, which is honestly like a 6th form project, it’s really dreadful and I guarantee doesn’t cover its costs. The “fashion” gives our club shop a run for its money in terms of tat. Localising content into 5 languages?? Does that make money?? I’m not so sure. I’d love the guy to be successful but this is a dreadful list of achievements for 10 years work!

I love the flip flops idea… very disrespectful and relatively easy to smuggle into the ground

I’m 57, so we may be similar ages, but that’s where the similarities end I’m afraid. It’s not the first time we’ve been shit, but it’s the first time we’ve won the league, built a squad capable of doing so, and then thrown that good work out and declined so badly we struggle to avoid League One, are deducted points for rule breaking, and can’t complete simple company administrative tasks. That’s entirely down to our disinterested, lazy, clueless owner. I’d swap him with almost any other owners, we almost cannot do worse. How anyone can defend King Power leaves me speechless, almost. -

Worse… we have one incompetent fool stearing the ship and a disinterested rich passenger in First Class that’s trying to fund it, has absolute faith in the idiot in charge, and finding that he’s running out of money -
I’m in full agreement with the criticism for his second half…. Am I alone in thinking he played well in the first 45??
-
Whilst I agree to some extent, and certainly in no way blame Kingy, he has been a pro footballer for 20 odd years… he knows what managers say and do in the changing room, at training and during matches. He has experienced it, even if he hasn’t experienced giving it. If the average fan can see Thomas (who I actually thought was excellent first half) is struggling then do something to support him or swap him / the winger in front of him / both.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

BCDR is a weak, and very average player, but his effort levels are in a different league to Ayew -

If we’d just signed a player and that was his first 14 minutes appearance he’d never play again. -
