  1. Some Wyscout data analysis on Nanasi & Gronbaek. https://www.hudl.com/blog/scandinavian-summer-transfer-targets
  2. The main take away from this photo is remembering that Ignasi Miquel existed.
  3. Where was the bus containing real Leicester celebrities like Serge Pizzorno, Engelbert Humperdinck, Mark Selby, Roy Cropper, Sam Bailey & Showaddywaddy. Disgraceful organising.
  4. Dario Osorio on the scoresheet for Midtjylland again today. Some of Europe’s big boys are supposedly scouting him, but the thought of him & Fatawu as our RW options is mouthwatering.
  5. Hopefully this final continues in this way, been far more attacking and open than I thought it would be.
  6. Plenty of Sheff Utd fans have said this season that he’s been a class above, and doesn’t really deserve to be part of the shitshow that they’ve created this season. He was one of the best progressive passers in the Championship while at Coventry, while he would give us some creativity and technical ability that we ideally need from midfield. The only scepticism I would have is how he’d fare in a more possession based system. They’ll be numerous suitors for him though, I just have a sneaky feeling he’ll end up at Fulham.
  7. Wanting him in or out has pretty much fluctuated on a weekly basis recently But now the season has ended, I’m very much 50/50. I’d be willing to give him a chance next season, but only if the board can give him the tools that he requires. Numerous players in this team just don’t suit his style, some of which will luckily be out the door on free transfers. More technical quality is simply required to properly make things work, I don’t really agree with the comments stating that heavy spending will only make this work. Some key tools were signed last summer for under £10 million, Hermansen & Winks being the main examples. But if Enzo feels like the board can’t deliver on what he requires, then the best thing to do is mutually part ways while his stock is high. The dream scenario would be Rudkin getting pushed out the door instead, but it seems him and Top are very much joined at the hip.
  8. A Kyren Wilson vs Jak Jones final, same vibes.
  9. That’s because he’s sold his house on Saffron Lane to move to Sunny Spain.
  10. Ebdon should work with Jak Jones instead, match made in heaven.
  11. Won Middlesbrough’s Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season at their awards last night. Gerrimin!
  12. Mentioned this guy back in January. Couhaib Driouech - Excelsior. Has been one of the best 1 vs 1 dribblers in the Eredivisie this season, with a very impressive success rate of 65%. Also very impressive defensive stats for a winger, currently averaging 8.41 successful defensive actions per90, along with 7.40 defensive duels per90. He rejected a move to Swansea in January, but the likes of PSV & Feyenoord have both shown interest in him in recent months. Could do with adding a bit more creativity to his game, but in terms of dribbling and defensive work, he looks the ideal winger for us.
  13. This is why I didn’t do Geography GCSE 🤦‍♂️
  14. @brownboy93 Watching Metz this season it’s been very evident that Mikautadze is a class above in their team. Was always the question mark of whether he could step up to Ligue 1, but in the first few games of the season before his move to Ajax, he took to Ligue 1 like a duck to water. Since returning to Metz, the contributions he has produced has been nothing short of phenomenal, he could single-handedly keep them in the division. He tends to excel when running and dribbling at defences, he has incredible footwork and balance. Also an excellent finisher too, some of his goals recently have been very classy. The only doubt I have is his ability to hold up the ball and link play, at times he becomes very isolated, but in all fairness the lack of quality around him don’t really help matters.
  15. A South American for you @Tommy Fresh Cesar Huerta - UNAM. Been linked with a few European clubs.
  16. Not really the age bracket we should be going for imo, as Moore just stated he isn’t really that creative technical spark we could do with either. There’s three simple options to fill that right sided 8 spot imo, Matt O’Riley or Gabriel Sara. If they prove to be too expensive though, then as numerous others have mentioned his name including @Parker Pen this morning. Adrian Bernabe is surely the one to come in a reasonable price bracket.
  17. The most stacked bottom half we’ve probably ever seen, but we end up getting a Jak Jones vs Stuart Bingham Semi Final The thought of a Wilson vs Jones final will give me nightmares till Sunday.
  18. I tend to look at websites like Whoscored & Sofascore when working on Ligue 1, but you quickly realise just how inflated these websites are in terms of match ratings especially. Whoever scores & assists usually get the highest ratings, when they are not necessarily the best performer in that specific match. As you said yourself, I’d take these websites with a grain of salt mate. FBref is a far better go-to despite them not doing match ratings.
  19. Strasbourg paid around £20 million for him unfortunately 😬
  20. Dunno how these old geezers keep doing it 60 odd points behind, a double red to start, few other clutch pots along the way, it was pretty much the ultimate John Higgins break.
  21. You could have bet your life savings on Higgins clearing up, nobody better in a situation like that.
  22. The second round overall has been pretty drab, but thank god we’re finishing it off with two close ones.
  23. With our financial situation, we can’t afford him.
  24. Looking forward to Sam Bailey & Showaddywaddy singing We Are The Champions at the trophy presentation on Saturday.
