Would certainly look at Sangante if we get promoted. Have liked the look of him for Le Havre this season.

Might be more of a summer target rather than a January target, but we should be keeping tabs on Ismael Kone of Watford. I’ve been very impressed with his development over recent months.

Kuryu Matsuki is the one to watch from the J1 League 👍🏻

There’s no point watching this team until the 70th minute.

“Shotgun, three days, to me is not a Golf tournament” ”I want to play against the best in the World, in a format that’s been going on for hundreds of years” Golf is reaching a point where the Majors are going to be the only thing worth watching.

The most handsome man in Snooker

The best 147 I’ve seen since Ronnie’s in 97.

His current passing statistics... Accurate Passes - 90.82% Accurate Forward Passes - 82.93% Accurate Passes To Final Third - 81.11% Accurate Progressive Passes - 79.17%

To find another gear in those last three frames just showed what a genius Ronnie is

Looking for potential creative 8’s, options look very sparse, delving deep into statistics, Gronbaek looks the outstanding candidate for me, along with this guy who’s been one of the standout players in Romania.

More evidence of this today. Every time KDH has either scored or assisted in the league this season, we’ve won. Fair play to Ndidi for getting an assist too, yet again making the perfect run into the box, which led to him making a perfect cross. The two 8’s continue to be the most crucial part of this side imo, when KDH & Ndidi stand up and deliver, we simply win.

When KDH contributes to this team, we win.

Maybe Jobi McAnuff is stuck in traffic, you can’t have a Championship game on Sky without McAnuff.

Szmodics also signed a new contract with Blackburn a couple of days ago, no chance of getting him.

The more I watch us, the more evident it becomes on how crucial KDH is to our side. He is integral to the way we play, and most of the time our best creative moments come through him. If he doesn’t start or he fails to perform, more often than not, we tend to look like a boring laboured team who struggle in the final third. Delving deeper into KDH’s creativity statistics, he currently ranks 4th for expected assists. He currently leads the league for most smart passes, while he currently sits 4th for most smart passes per90. While he currently sits joint 5th for most key passes in the league. I don’t think it’s any surprise that our more convincing wins have come when he’s contributed something. 4-1 vs Southampton(Assist), 4-1 vs Blackburn(Goal), 3-0 vs Preston(2 goals), 3-1 vs Swansea(Assist). While of course on the opening day, his goals got us over the line against Coventry. Personally I think we’re in desperate need for someone similar to him. Ndidi has slowly grown into the 8 role, but I don’t see him being the long term answer, he doesn’t give us what KDH does. Casadei has been extremely disappointing, while Akgun is more of a winger. I don’t think it’s any surprise to see us being linked with Gronbaek, he’d be ideal to go alongside KDH or as a rotation option. While finally delving into form and results, from Southampton away to QPR away, KDH also managed to hit a hot streak of form, in that period he managed 3 goals & 5 assists. During that similar period between Southampton away and Stoke home, Vardy scored 4 in 6. While between Norwich away and Swansea away, Iheanacho scored 5 in 6. Over the past four games, of course nobody has managed to hit a hot streak of form, which has coincided in losing 2 in 4. Ideally we need at least one of that trio to be contributing on a regular basis, like Leeds are currently seeing with Crysencio Summerville for example and Hull with Jaden Philogene.

He said he’ll stick with his philosophy so we best get used to it. As a few others have said, I think it’s more of a personnel problem rather than a tactics problem. Certain elements of this team I’m a big fan of, but there’s also certain elements of this team that clearly need improvement. From the 8 positions to our attack, we have looked too unconvincing on numerous occasions this season. We look so laboured at times when in the final third, we seem to be either too weak in possession or lack creativity when in and around the 18 yard box. Parts of this squad just ain’t all that. KDH’s performances have been a complete mixture. Ndidi started the season poorly, but has shown improvements in a 8 position, however I doubt he’s a long term answer for that position. Casadei has been disappointing. Mavididi & Fatawu are too inconsistent. Vardy is past his best. While many thought Iheanacho would be a beast in this league, he’s yet to show it. Changes are desperately needed in those positions when January comes around.

Got what we deserved tonight, piss poor performance. Hopefully Casadei & Akgun are sent back in January.

I’ve been working on French Football over the past two seasons, and your observation is absolutely spot on. He isn’t blessed with pace, but his ability to glide past players with his dribbling ability is a joy to watch. As I alluded to in an above post, his crossing ability is his best trait imo, at times World Class. He has been in my top five favourite players to watch in Ligue 1 this season, if his form continues and we end up getting promoted, he’d be my number one target for RW.

A thrilling opening day to the UK Championship. Excellent comebacks from Ford & Jamie Clarke. Kyren Wilson going through a terrible bad patch, he’s lost his opening match in 4 of the last 5 tournaments.

If Vakoun Bayo comes on for Watford and scores, then we deserve to be liquidated.
-
If we can nullify the threat of Ken Sema on their left and their supply into Rajovic, then I fully expect a win. Choudhury won’t give us what Winks does, but I’m not overly concerned with Winks missing, I think we can get on top of Watford’s midfield which can be very hit & miss. I also expect Vardy to start this game, but I’m hoping Daka gets some minutes off the bench, his pace could easily hurt that Watford back line, especially if he plays off Hoedt.

Good to see a strong Leicester contingent will be at the UK Championship this year, O’Connor & Woollaston joining Selby & Ford in the draw
