I also quite like the thought of Fuchs. I’m still an admirer of the work Will Still did in France, but I think he speaks better French than he does English Russell Martin would of course fracture a broken fanbase even more. I’d be very surprised if it’s foreign, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Jimmy Thelin gets mentioned again.

For the league we’ll be in, plus the type of fees A-League players go for, targeting a league like that would also be sensible business, you’ve seen a fair few jump to England and Scotland in recent times. With James McCarron coming in from Man City, with City Group ties to your team Melbourne City, hopefully he has some knowledge to Melbourne City, plus the A-League in general.
