Not sure why he started alongside Soumare. Overtly defensive. He might have a role to play late in matches, to kill games in which we have the lead, but other than that he is gash. Once Winks came on for him today we looked like a different side.
-
Touting himself? I must have missed that bit. Seems a decent human being in the interviews I've seen and read about him.
-
No way, really? Ffs. In that case, I hope someone has actually told him that. He did look like he was giving the fans stick and I can see why, if he thought he was being booed.
-
I think the absolute knobheads are the people booing him coming on – and then booing his goal, if that really happened. I personally don't blame him at all. Would've done the same.

Skipp needs to be in a skip. Winks needs to start. Ayew will be ok for us in the Championship. Monga could be a beast. Look forward to the season even more now.

At which point does a "free agent" become "retired". Dude hasn't played football for nearly a full year.

I was impressed by how Chris Davies set Birmingham up last season and I'm also a fan of McKenna. Was looking forward to this game, but so far it's just a mixture of nervous energy, frantic movement and over-hit passes. And a shit ref, of course. But that's standard at this level. If they settle a bit, this might turn into a decent game, but so far it's a disappointment.

Who do I speak to about trying to erase some of the mental images that this thread has conjured up?

Nailed it. A typical football fan's mindset in a nutshell.

Which, ironically, is a fair description of us at the moment.

Second Tier is awful - but still nowhere near as bad as Not the Top 20 crowd. The concept those clowns have come up means that they are able to add literally nothing to what you would gain from simply looking at the final scores and tables for the EFL's weekend games on a Sunday evening.

I was reminded this weekend how we signed Gökhan Inler as pretty much a replacement for Cambiasso in 2015. He was an excellent player – had watched him at Napoli and was excited about the prospect of seeing him in a City shirt. He was meant to be our anchor for 2015-16 – but Kante and Drinkwater stepped up and the rest is history.

Anthony Herlihy – Director of Noncommunication

To be fair, however, I don't doubt that him being responsible for communicating Rudkin's decisions does offer him great learning opportunities in the field of crisis management. -
Correct. Hi Jon.
-
Don't see Chelsea or ManU going for him as their 1st choice – or Hermansen being happy playing second string. Spurs, granted, with Frank there could be possible. However, Vicario is one of the leaders/captains of that team and is likely to be named club captain now that Son is going. So can't see that either in this window. Frank would be brave to replace him so soon after coming in.

According to Sky Sports News just now, West Ham have gone off the idea of Mads due to our valuation and are now chasing John Victor from Botafogo. With Kelleher at Brentford, I think it's safe to say that he is unlikely to go to a Premier League club in this window? So might even stay?

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
HitchinFox replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Leeds won't get anywhere near our points total from last season if Farke stays in charge. And that's saying something. So Bilal going there would make zero sense for him - from a career point of view. -
How excited are you for the new season?
HitchinFox replied to daddylonglegs's topic in Leicester City Forum
Exactly my thoughts. Zero expectations, with Rudkin in charge, but intrigued about what happens. -

Exactly. Hence anyone gloating should do so with caution. Not that any of us have here, but have seen some other clubs' fans take joy in Wednesday's plight. Leeds being one obvious one. -

What's happening at Wednesday is awful. It's baffling how so many clubs - even big ones - are ran so unimaginably badly by either devious/uninterested/bat-shit crazy people or good, clueless (and often well-meaning) people. Fans should be able to just worry, celebrate/moan about the performances on the pitch, not whether they will have a club to support next week. As Leicester fans, I'm sure most of us can relate, too. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
HitchinFox replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
If we had to go down last season, then RvN's cluelessness of how to best use Bilal was actually, in hindsight, a blessing for us. If we had fully utilised BeK, put up a fight and still gone down narrowly then there would be plenty of suitors. I'm convinced that Ciufentes is much more likely to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of players and Bilal will be one to benefit and flourish under him. -
Unreal moment from an average player?

That one time that Junior Lewis passed the ball forwards. -
So a summary of our views on Asmir is that... He's 52 years old His back's gone He is a poor shot stopper He can't see properly He chain-smokes And he is, still, a massive upgrade on Danny Ward.

Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player
HitchinFox replied to Jacob7839's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah - a Wolves fan. -
I totally agree with the notion and intention of your post – however, I do not see this as an underwhelming appointment at all! Genuinely excited.
