I am absolutely bewildered that we've not tried a back 5 this season. Even if it's not the long term answer - it cannot be worse than this.

If he resigned tomorrow or Monday and really humiliated those above him then I'd have a lot of time for him. But there'll be something contractual stopping him doing this.

He should go, it's pointless him being here. This race has already run. But I also don't think it really fixes anything either. So I really don't know. There's a deep, deep rot at this club and it really does go beyond the manager. I'd have more time for him if he started really screwing some of their careers over. Training with the kids. Like what Amorim's done with Rashford but the problem is who the hell even comes in for them? It's broken. I think you're on a hiding to nothing in that job.

PSR is managed decline of football. I am absolutely convinced of it. A system that reduces competition, encourages greed (which the fans are often going to foot the bill), it's making the clubs in the league greedy when they don't need to be because of the amount of money they have. A system that incentivises selling academy prospects. An assault on the sport. A disgrace.

To be honest he should've done his due diligence. Anyone on here could've predicted this. He even had the benefit of first hand evidence of how bad we were by managing against us twice. I feel for him, he's obviously been let down, but he should've dodged us like a bullet really.

Yes and no - he had surgery as a result of knowing that he wasn't going to be playing games which he probably wouldn't have if we'd signed him. Besides on him the point that was often missed is if we lose Ndidi for months, have Casadei recalled, can't sign Sensi, then.... simply sign someone else. This is what a well functioning club could do.

A player who lets be honest, Middlesbrough or QPR could've signed. I don't believe they aren't trying - I just believe it's a symptom of what we all know to be true. Incompetent people who don't learn, making the same incompetent mistakes. They're trying, but failing, as usual.

I've always liked him as a player but he's very injury prone isn't he and I don't really get this aversion we have to wanting to sign actual left backs.
