If somebody totally unrelated to Vichai had come in in 2018 and performed how Aiyawatt has done the majority of the fanbase would want them out. It's pure association that alleviates him of this criticism.

Fingers crossed. I don't think they've turned much of a corner though. They're abysmal defensively, giving up loads of chances. That tonight sums them up. Any other year that's sailing.

They're on 30 goals from 21 games. We scored 68. No comparison. We get lumbered a lot with a reputation based on how we finished the season. People acted like we were winning 1-0 all year. Forest are actually on course to score just 3 more than we did in the season we went down. Their attack isn't close. They're a good team and I do think this sadly will act as a platform for them to keep getting better. But they're not Leicester 2015/16. They just aren't.

Not celebrating against any former club is one of the low key shite things about football now. Such virtue signalling dog shit. If we're upset that Wood's celebrating scoring against us maybe we should encourage the club to sign better defenders.

Man City are still right in theirs. A two goal lead blown and another poor performance. I thought about backing them to win the league at 40/1 the other week and I'm glad I didn't. They're a bust this season. They were crap here as well.

Quite relieved. They won't win it. Think they had to win that to win the league. They'll get top 4 comfortably though. Chelsea and Man City are both miles off it. Arsenal are possibly the same. I wonder if both them and Newcastle will do it.

I see people blame the style but it was poor recruitment as much as anything. We had a midfield of Amartey and King in some games. It was admittedly very hard after Kante but the recruitment wasn't good enough. I'd have been very intrigued to see what we'd done if we'd recruited suitably.

It's true. With a game in hand as well (albeit a massive banana skin fixture). I'm less and less convinced they're that good. They're not as good as Man City at their best and to be honest I'm not even convinced they're as good as Arsenal were in the last couple of years.

Liverpool definitely having their slump. I'm getting genuinely quite worried now.

This iteration? Basically anyone. Southampton may be an exception but even they for all their embarrassment haven't gotten into financial shit, and they're apparently having a bit of a restructure, so that's two things they have over us. All we have over them is better positioned finishes with the same outcome. Top's ownership is a shambles.

On this season alone he's overseen a litany of errors. - Wrong managerial appointment, as even agreed by Aiyawatt himself. - Signed only three players before August in the summer, one of which was Fatawu who we basically had to sign anyway (although was a good deal on the whole you would say). This left us undercooked, once again, for our first game of the season. - Said cockup left us panicking and led to us overpaying drastically for Skipp. A player who has started 7 league games for us out of a possible 20. All while our defence remains individually terrible. What you always find with Rudkin is every cutback or error we make is a knock on from a previous error yet often with him there seems to be this clean slate which isn't deserved. Get him out. That's this season alone.

He feels like another of the profile that's got us into this mess to be honest even if I do think he probably starts for us at the minute.

A little bit but I think in reality we're going down anyway and we're likely stuck with Rudkin anyway. So no celebration from me if we dodge it again. If a points deduction forced a change in ownership I'd happily see them hit us with one. Doesn't really work like that though with us. We seem to manage both the shit outcome and no response.

Reminiscent of when Bolton used to take all our garbage. We've become Bolton.

He's played a grant total of eight nineties in the last three seasons. Is 29. Nah. This would be typical of us though.

Good riddance tbh. Has been pretty iffy for large spells and seems to think he's above us despite this.

People acting like we weren't playing against a largely rotated Championship side. For no youth player to even make the bench is ridiculous even if I do sort of get the thinking with naming our first team. Nobody is saying he necessarily comes in and should be starting every game but if we can't give him a chance in a game like yesterday I honestly don't know when we can. There'll be some excuse trotted out for him not going on loan either. It's just another example of the complete lack of joined up thinking.

He was fantastic for six months after we signed him but he's never been quite the same since that Watford error. In truth I think he is somebody who will suit a side with a lot of the ball and we're not going to have that in this league.

That is well and truly honking.

I didn't see the game. There is one thing however I'm convinced of - just play El Khannouss and Buonanotte, every game home and away. You always have a punchers chance to get goals with those two on the pitch, and we're nothing close to solid without those two on the pitch either, so I just don't really see the benefit of not playing them. We're not keeping the goals out against basically anyone with this defence so we're going to have to outscore sides.
