Maresca loved choudhury but he’d never play him in this role in a million years, that says it all. This manager hasn’t got a clue how to platform these players. We’re not scoring here if we play all night. Just a case of whether Wrexham score from a set piece or not.

People can say what they want about him as a player, but we’d be instantly better with 3-4 Matty James’ in this squad. Love the bloke.

Looking forward to seeing Hamza at left back again when Aluko is 10x a more natural solution there.

I follow Mallorca as a second/european team and also have to keep track of their youth system for a bit of my work. If you’d told me a few years back Diabate would be playing championship football within a few years I would have been surprised. Was exceptionally raw at the time despite being a good goalscorer. Haven’t kept track of him since he’d left Spain - didn’t even know he’d gone to Sweden. Would expect him to look very raw here too.
