There isn't any. People just seem to think that managers make good DOFs when actually they're totally different things. To answer your earlier question he's took Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham in to Celtic as younger coaches to do the training ground work for him. Either he'd want to continue with them or follow a similar route with the younger ex player of the club that's into his coaching to do that part of the job for MON. I see he's worked with Steve Guppy for Ireland who is a coach these days so I would imagine he'd be a candidate given the connection.

Perhaps a post for the Managerial Replacements thread, but Solskjaer doesn't get enough credit. United looked the best they have since SAF under him. Plus it wouldn't be possession obsessed football.

Regardless of whether I or anyone else want them, I would imagine the front runners will be Carrick, Gary O'Neill, Solskjaer, Mowbray and they'll probably try Carsley (Try being the operative word, blokes becoming the new Potter for us). I'd personally like Mowbray, Challinor or Wellens. Of the personal opinion we need to go and try find Pearson V2 rather than someone too expansive. After seeing his Celtic stint, I'm seriously not against an MON interim period either.

Agree it’s the bare minimum, but direct that vitriol (in the case of others, not specifically you) towards those dossers. Not Daka. Like I said, around where I sit he gets the most of the mockery which isn’t justified because there’s definitely others that deserve that more.

This is true. We got absolutely rinsed at and around Preston away for playing so high earlier in the season. He’s probably had to adapt that.
