Last 3 games, regardless of the level of opposition, have looked the best coached we have looked in years in terms of patterns and pure domination. Next two games and some hopefully decent friendly opposition before next summer will be more of an acid test of course.

I’d like to hope on the back of the last couple of social media posts that the penny has dropped that the very least inept of the 3 running the show has admitted defeat here. Sure she’s been complicit in some bad decisions here, but I think we’re (somehow) a lot worse off right now than we were.

This league is all over the shop right now. There's probably 5 teams of the top 10 that won't be in it by Christmas let alone the end of the season. Let's see where the league is in another 10 games and the 2 game weeks start rolling in. A fair few teams haven't properly got going yet and that will change. I'm pretty sure we'll be one of them, but that's the glass half full in me.

They should be in matchday squads at least, in this era where you can name 9. You’ve got Kristiansen blocking Aluko’s path, Reid blocking Page/Evans, Faes blocking Nelson. All of the above (senior) players have had their chance, they’ve been crap and shouldn’t be here. Yet Marti feels compelled to pick them in squads because of their “experience” and more bluntly, their pay packet.
