Not bothered about the 'developing Brighton players' slant. We just have to look at this season and can't look ahead too far. If we end up surviving thanks to his contributions, then that's great. And that's all we need to be focusing on. Survival. Don't really care about what Brighton do this season or whether they're competition. They're probably not, in all honesty. As long as there's no recall clause as well then that's important. Can't be arsed with him having a stellar first six months then in Jan we have to go hunting for a decent player again.

Taken great pleasure reading the sentencing articles from BBC today of those who were given jail time after rioting in Liverpool and Rotherham/Teesside. One of them was a former school governor! And he was the main instigator! His partner being young enough to be his son (grooming gangs, you say ). One of the other men was 'against fascism and abhors any form of racism' yet knocked a kid off his bike during one of the protests, and threw rocks towards a building with asylum seekers in it. Facepalm. And another guy 'has been subjected to threats because of his involvement' in the riots. Awww diddums!

And work sent some emails out about nearby locations that were planned to be targeted. Seen a lot of 'counter protests' in the bigger cities which of course are peaceful. Hopefully doesn't kick off anywhere later into the night.
