You can see why Man City let him go. He is not reliable, he will have a reasonable game then not a lot for 4 or 5 games. Shame really.

I tend to agree. Look at the relevant points: Midday game not one of our strong points. On TV another bad omen. Playing away putting extra pressure on us against a good side. Dip in fom as we are not playing that well at the moment. Difficult game this.

I for one am slowly losing faith in his lack of an alternative plan . He was forecasting a defeat during our good run a few weeks back but has done nothing to try and stop it. Seems he is slipping into Rodgers mode with not trying to modify our system because he knows best, even when we don't have the players good enough.

Surely selling players that are not required at the club for a fee slightly less then expected is better than a cheque for nil pois.

Not keen on this option of swapping venues for the supposed smaller clubs in Cup competitions. Teams like Man U, Liverpool and Man C (who have enough of an advantage), would hardly ever play an away game again.
