What is it with standing with the ball under your foot for 1 min in the middle of the pitch just to pass the ball 3 ft sidewards.

But we will have to reduce our squad size as we cannot register all our current players. This will be by either just letting go on a free or loans, which means again not being able to see our youngsters applying their craft at this club.

Both our wingers have tried several times to take on their respective fullbacks and failed. So they are both now using same trick of receiving the ball going forward 5 yards and the passing back. Their fullbacks think they are on holiday.

Glad they are playing in pink to see our players. This due to the distance the camera is set up from the field. Not a good idea setting it on top of Old John.

There is a rumour that although your season ticket now includes safe standing where applicable, the not so good news is that you may now have to pay extra to sit down in your allotted seat at each home game. This is to help offset the the poor financial management at the club over the recent years. Searches by stewards will now be mandatory for any foldup camping chairs. Way to go.

You would think with the lack of action in the current state of play and in any future development with this project, is it now time for the Mod's to end this thread and we just all move on.

You could say that our board are very poor at running a modern day football entity. The astonishing thing is they are running three now (indirectly) with the same outcome.

It's not just that though is it. Transportation costs, catering, finding some where to park when it's an evening kick off and playing away. Also the time you need to allow to get to the ground before the whistle and the late nights returning home, all this just to watch your team get stuffed 4 or 5 nil as of lately. That takes some bottle.

I think we need to show common sense even more.

Sorry to offend some people but I always thought it was a little ostentatious in flying into and out of a stadium with all the safety concerns of building proximity. I understand the failure of a mechanical part is the reason in this matter, but I remember when helicopters landed/took off in Mandela Park on special occasions, there use to be a Fire Appliance in attendance in case of difficulties. This may or probably not have made a difference to any life loss in our case. Just a thought.

May be the case but it still comes under the umbrella of total running cost of the club, having its own training ground etc, etc.

We don't need two clubs and the expense of running a ladies team in the WSL either.
