  1. The usual way with his tactics are to hit long balls to the far post then headed back across the box. Burnley scored loads of goals that way.
  2. That may not be too easy as well. If Everton and Southampton go down with us then as you say it will be difficult to come straight back up.
  3. I forgot completely about him. At least he can direct the bus driver to Luton on a Tuesday evening.
  4. He has turned into a bit of a wrecking ball to his own team when he plays.
  5. Must be like this in China, where non attendance is frowned upon and not being seen to be enjoying the experience is a capital offence.
  6. The Foxes, who currently sit 12th in the Barclays Women's Super League standings. This sort of statement is all about PR bullshlt. Say it like it is, we are bottom and a few points adrift.
  7. We will see who are the fastest current crop of players, if we get relegated this season.
  8. Need a new assistant manager. The likes of Monkfish would be a good option. He would sort them out.
  9. Don't worry, Southgate will play Madders so wide, he'll be running and leaping over the front two rows of seats, totally out of the game.
  10. Plan A = the Rodgers way. Plan B = code '404'. Plan C = \r to Plan A. Computer says NO.
  11. When Gareth was asked why Phillips was picked with only playing 78 minutes for his club, his reply was that he played for a big club. Sorry Madders.
  12. There is a computer term for this headline and it is shlt in equals shlt out.
  13. Quote: I think noise at football matches is a bit overrated. I think we should all just sit in a respectful, stupefied, silence throughout the game; possibly breaking out into polite applause if someone does something good. So Jobyfox, you have been to a Burnley home game last season then. 😜
  14. Successful businesses have a long term, 5 year plan with some flexibility. We had one until the old man died. We don't seem to even have a plan b nowadays.
  15. With those options, I think he would have to play just like another type of player, but certainly not him.
  16. Keep saying, need a few large sand hills and a bin for Snoods, Scarves, and Gloves.
  17. Don't forget that some of these so called stadium personnel are actually supplied by outside contractors, they therefore have no allegiance to the club. To them it's just a job without wearing the blue tinted glasses.
  18. You do remember that he is supposedly an international goalkeeper, who has played in a recent world cup. Mind you it was for Wales.
  19. As has been shown, the Southampton model of selling their prize assets to balance the books has hardly been a major success in their football league position. Our feeder options from youth teams has backfired due to a lack of talent or coaching. With this in mind, because we failed to sell one of our major assets, we suddenly end up £93 million in the red. This surely is sailing too close to the wind and unsustainable.
  20. The Stadium should have been extended soon after the league win to maximise the extra financial clout.
  21. I am sick to death of our inconsistencies and lack of fight against the so called big clubs, as you call them Brendan.
  22. Problem is what young and up and coming players of the future? Some of our so called young up and coming players are out on loan and can't get a kick at their so called second rate clubs, because they aren't good enough.
  23. Another Under perhaps with similar traits?
  24. Surely Rodgers knows by now that a lot of our so-called second string players, when combined together in the same side, are just not good enough for the later stages of any cup run.
  25. It is all very difficult for us. When we slide out of this so called Super League, we may improve our somber mood by finishing midway in the Championship with a few good wins.
