  1. Apart from him following us I don’t think we’re actually linked.
  2. The assumption on your part is it was Leicester putting him up for sale. The case is the club has a price they would accept for a player they’re not actively trying to sell, so any club has to meet that valuation or get quite near, which seems hasn’t been the case.
  3. While you mention your a sad case, its posts like this that puts it into perspective as to where we now find ourselves all self inflicted and largely preventable. Superb post.
  4. Sounds like a Top guy.
  5. Didn’t think I was being dramatic. Pino is a better player and Leicester by the looks of it won’t be selling to make a couple of a million profit. Which seems fair for both. As long as we ok financially I’d love to keep him for one year.
  6. So they will spend the money if they see the player has a good alternative. Clearly don’t rate BEK that highly as they think they can screw us to simply make a couple of a million profit on a highly rated player.
  7. Or is this what getting your house in order looks like after repeated disastrous decisions the club literally has to be extreme in it’s approach.
  8. Fair assessment. Last year we’ve got a good fee and move on. That’s exactly how the club should have been dealing with all the others that left on a free. We just need to be better at then bringing fresh blood in to replace.
  9. The club seem to be making tough decisions annd subsequently our squad is rapidly losing its better players. Which as a fan you don’t want to see but when will the penny drop with some, we have to do this. I hope we bring some players in but we can’t make the mistake of overpaying on wages like we’ve done in the past it needs to change. We may have to make do with loans to almost transition into next season even if that means no promotion 🤷‍♂️ Brownhill is a quality player but we shouldn’t be making massive layouts on wages.
  10. Good deal. Yes we’re weaker but the penny will drop for once all self inflicted but we can only really move forward by clearing the decks.
  11. Like Winks to name a few. With the case of Bilal the club will maximise on a young exciting talent. He’ll go but I doubt we’ll give into to Spurs messing us around.
  12. That be next season with it being subject to a loan. So maybe next year with have the financial manoeuvrability. We spent less than that on Wes Fofana with less game time. If a team gets its scouting right.
  13. Yes indeed, this activity we’d be extremely happy at this being done at the open of the window. But it’s being cut fine and we can’t trust they’ll even reinvest. Time will tell but it’s the hope that kills you.
  14. Unbelievable agreed fee. I like Kasey but this is too good to turn down in the position we’re in.
  15. Christ alive I would love this to be true. But there is no way the sources listed deserve anything other than to be in twitter rumours.
  16. Our issue is our 1st eleven needing improving but it appears we now need to replace our squad players too. But assuming us fans would rather keep Bobby Reid as the player that can step in for Abdul. I think we'll likely rely on loans probably of the same ilk as Kasey but needs must I guess.
  17. Sunderland wanted him and now Ipswich, yet some turn their noses up. No doubt he'll be a squad player at Ipswich, the same as here. He for whatever you think of his current talent will form part of the squad be on lower wages and is young and hungry. Basically worse off without him and no sign of incomings Christ we really will have to play the kids.
  18. Percy just tweeted Arsenal close to agreeing a fee for eze So Spurs fck about then this
  19. I looks like the club have held their ground, thankfully, but with a week left will someone come in with the 'cant turn that down' price point.
  20. We're stuck with Bobby Reid till the summer of 2027..
  21. I doubt Palace will want go to what Southampton want, which is £50m. Southampton have been rejecting bids as the hold out for more. Palace have to act quick so I’d imagine they’ll step up their interest to get a replacement in first and quickly.
  22. Compare and contrast relying on media usually once it’s happened (teletext 👀) or the paper you receive once a day and contrast to the constant cycle of updates from often inaccurate sources across multiple platforms all this to try and gain clicks due to the insane demand of needing to know constantly with F5 refreshing constantly in the hope of news or a fortune topic turning hot for positive news rather than hilarious puns. I’ll be honest early part of this summer I had been doing up my house and went away etc. Stayed off here and social media, it makes a difference and I didn’t really miss all the crap going on and the mass hysteria created to divide. It probably has hit foxes fans a little harder due to the complete radio silence from the club and lack of positive activity and like some have said this has only led to speculation and anger fuelled by a instant news cycle driven by fake reports and opinion. I know some on here hardly if ever post, Babylon for example (won’t tag) but I got the feeling he was better away from it. The football is meant to be the outlet I look forward to and social media shouldn’t be filling the void.
  23. Isn't this exactly what we heard earlier and we’re led to believe we’ve confirmed we don’t want to sell and want more than that figure quoted.
  24. Funnily enough Percy just tweeted that palace are restructuring with a sporting director replacing Freedman. Another club we could only aspire to right now and sadly able to poach our best technical player with a high ceiling.
  25. Very good post. The bottom line is the club need to support Marti to bring some players in to refresh the squad and theoretically bring existing players up to 4’s getting rid of the 1’s. And yes we have to get rid of the players that don’t want to be here otherwise things will go from bad to worse. Get a motivated team that maybe isn’t as talented is where we want to position ourselves in a reset at the bare minimum if the club can’t invest huge sums. That team with fan support will do a lot better than the current crop.
