  1. I think there are a lot on here that would see Rohl as the guy we should be moving earth to get. I’d add Cufuentes too as the 2nd option too. However there is no guarantees with anything and how do we know they don’t quite fancy us due to the shite we all know is going on, very real possibility. Maybe Dyche is an active option who wants the job. The club have got themselves into a mess and unless changes at the top are made I quite honestly don’t see how we get back to at least a steady premiership team. I wouldn’t discount Dyche as he is an organiser and a very experienced manager that will galvanise this club again irregardless of the mess that’s going above his head. Having said that Rohl did an extraordinary job with a complete circus playing out off the pitch. He is the one.
  2. It will be as simple as that.
  3. It’s what happened with Cooper. We wouldn't meet Potter’s requirements so went with the other bloke on Rudkins brilliant list, the backup as you’ve no idea what your doing for any other alternatives. I’m not against Dyche, logically, we’re in the Shite financially the KP group are too, we have no leadership or direction, so Dyche would definitely settle the ship. His style aside that more than anything is what we need but.. I want Rohl or Cifuentes. But I envisage with the daft sods off the pitch what forward thinking structure that means we build long term which will complement this forward thinking attacking managers..
  4. Dyche will bring that leadership
  5. It’s been briefed to the press numerous times the style the owner wants us to play, a style we can’t afford to employ any higher than the championship. Do we honestly expect that the DOF is capable to build a structure to obtain the support staff, managers and players required to see on the pitch the owner has in his own head. Yes you do end up with the likes of Cooper and smith as we neither consistent or forward thinking. We went from a style that was pragmatic and won us the league and to a style / mess that makes no sense and half the squad aren’t suited to play. Enzo won us the league with good players but there was never anyway he’d of been doing anything other than keeping us up the following year and failing. I expect nothing less from this club at present a total lottery as to who the manager is, the style and squad makeup come the start of the season.
  6. Agreed. He’s captained England at a few levels I believe and I’ve watched him a lot and he does have something about him. He needs to strengthen up a little and if we can get his confidence going (had a big injury after all ) I believe there is a good asset there time will tell!
  7. I honestly don’t get any of the negativity surrounding Kasey and him at least being part of the squad while in the championship. He very much cares about the club and you can see that in the way he plays. I’d rather have players like him in the squad than the likes of Wout Faes who couldn’t care less. He’s always been in around the squad (when fit) under successive managers. I think he can improve but I think the comparison to Albrighton is fair and underestimated player who was reliable and did the job when it mattered.
  8. Charlotte I can see, assuming Steve Walsh can persuade him over NY.
  9. Likely the case. Top and Rudkin enjoying their holidays before deciding on their strategy for next season. @Ric Flair how is Jake holding up, he must be devastated.
  10. Yeah ive seen worse tbh. However the apathy i feel is due the continuous poor decision after poor decision without accountability and seeing whats coming down the road when the board are myopic is frustrating. Im not convinced Martin is a complete disaster but its the boring tedious shite we can’t afford to play in the premier league that makes it insanity that we have a buffoon man child of an owner who insists on it when the better more exciting pragmatists like Rohl are likely overlooked, perhaps due to budgetary reasons caused by imbeciles on the board. I renewed and for what its worth I’ll give this season a shot waiting for a clever and clear organisational structure to rise from the ashes with the overpaid shiteheaps like Wout finally given the heaveho. If not then this will likely be my last as a season ticket holder.
  11. The frauds at football insider saying he’ll be sacked. So in charge for the first game then.
  12. Any right minded owner / majority Shareholder of any organisation would not want to avoid these costly legal battles that seem to negate the possibility of success and profitability. You would restructure and hold people accountable. This is dereliction of duty and self sabotage but he just seems so oblivious to it. The board survives because Top probably has no connection to the industry other than through JR and is reliant on him to do or change anything and we know JR wouldn’t entertain a DOF under Potter which seemed like a much needed logical change. We currently sit here not knowing RVN’s future. While Ipswich and Southampton look organised already ahead of the new season, months away, we again know that the board will delay and dither. I’ve discussed at length managers we could go for Rohl etc but who in their right mind will want to deal with this mess when it’s clear for anyone that this board is incompetent and can’t be trusted. Your long term journey here is unpredictable or short, everything is planned on a myopic whim, we’ll throw bad money after bad now become our new manager / player.
  13. Someone quoted earlier on his time at Burnley that he heavily used the youth team promoting lots to the first team. So you’re only half right. But one can understand the logic of not doing that in the premier league. But your 💯% right regards to decision making at the club. It’s a shambles. If anything he was the manager you should be appointing to try and galvanise a poor squad without money to spend - not insist of a ‘possession’ based at approach manager who has next to no experience then not back him in the transfer market. The board can’t be trusted to get anything right. With the mess we’re in we could do a lot worse than appointing a coach like Dyche. He’s done a lot of out of the field talks that highlights his ideas on the game, some will have you believe he’s some kind of dinosaur. Personally I’d go Will Stil, Rohl or Cifuentes. However that rely on the board having got their arse into gear and reorganised a structure off the field that help these managers thrive. One thing we can’t afford next year is to do a Luton.
  14. The strongest connection between Vardy and Charlotte FC is Steve Walsh..
  15. Couldn’t agree more, he explained it very well and how the people at the top now (I.e. Rudkin) haven’t got it in them to replicate and bring an organised structure back. We had a structure built by Pearson et al under the laissez faire approach from Vichai but sadly that structure and the good staff that worked within it have slowly been picked off and left. It’s been a slow downward spiral the day we let Pearson and Steve Walsh go and sadly the passing of Vichai. We all know it isn’t working and that things need to be changed with a structural style to a similar style as before but who is putting that in Top’s head - certainly isn’t Rudkin.
  16. Exactly the people running the club don’t have the first clue and Cooper was never the answer whether you think he’s a better option or not these appointments are just where we are at the moment, a downward spiral with incompetent leaders.
  17. Walsh jumped into a basket case and had his wings clipped , found it difficult to make an impact with Koeman’s ego, he wanted to bring in players like Haaland and Andy Robertson - they’ve both not done too bad. He did manage to bring in Lookman a player we all know too well. We wouldn’t go wrong with bringing people back who understood the data driven system we used have at the centre of every decision we made. And clear competent negotiators that understand that market is a big must.
  18. He’s created most chances and big chances. And that’s when he hasn’t played consistently for months.
  19. Hamza is the exact example of a player the club offered ridiculous terms to without seeing any results on the pitch - plenty off it though. Monga looks the real deal is my point, laying out huge contracts to the likes of Hamza and Vesty is bordering on szhitzo when we're likely offering small terms to good youngsters who'll be assets to the bigger clubs and NO clear path to the team. The club in this regard must do better.
  20. Wonder why we offer stupid wages to proper shite and won’t push the boat out for a top class youth prospect.
  21. Zero chance we ever see him play for the senior team.
  22. Like Facundo he’ll go on and half a superb career. He definitely has that magic touch and aura. Just hope this shambles hasn’t dampened his confidence.
  23. https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/kevin-thelwell-everton-director-of-football-wgn5s6mn0 First West Ham and now Everton, another ‘lower’ half rival who is restructuring ahead of the summer with the DOF stepping down. Looks like those team are getting their house in order.
