Exactly, there is a reason he isn't getting picked (two managers) and due to our own incompetence and foresight in planning we're stuck with a player who is completely useless and i'd rather throw Evans in the mix than to give him any game time. Whether Akpom is the answer as a back up or the 2nd striker up top, i'm not sure it is, but he's better than Edouard IMO. Our issue is we have 6 days to get players through the door in a difficult window to sign anyone other than players not wanted and then those players are expensive too. And player's that you want that will make a difference, not sure I have any trust that we've planned that far ahead and are within our clearly small budget.

I love that he did this in Spanish, most of the squad wouldn't have had a clue what was being said, so kind of private but also Facundo certainly would have understood clearly. It makes sense the individual that leaked it clearly got this wrong. I like the fact he challenges our players and sounds like he is straight to the point. I'm not fully there with Ruud and his selections but real authority seemed to be lacking in recent years, so more for it.

It makes perfect to move him on but we’re likely to again see a player leave on a free, losing out on a reasonable fee undermining our PSR goals. Maybe they’re in the situation whereby they haven’t done their home work on another left back with VK needing backup. And in January with 9 days left it’s too much for one man to manage on top of the other positions which we’re told their targeting.

But statistically he’s way ahead of Ayew in most metrics, he’s in fact one our best forward players - apart from falling over at the slightest of touches, Ayew excels there.

We at present are not a well run football club with an obvious strategy and we’re the dictionary definition of a Sh@t football club. If we end up trying to bring this lad in this window then it seems logical to ask that question.
