They’re an up and coming team and they’ll have known a lot about him. I think he’ll kick on and have a good career just wasn’t getting the standards to where we are.
-
Entitlement to know it went through just wait FFS, it isn’t worth getting upset over something you can’t control.
-
Apparently £4m and on four year deal so if my understanding is correct (from some on here) then this amortised over those 4 years so that’s £1m per year (so nothing) but KDH is full £30m profit with the accounting year to end of June.
-
Id imagine Chelsea value a LOT higher than £4m too!
-
Our only big sellable asset where clubs actively wanted him with a PSR deadline this needed to happen as it was the only way it could. He did us proud fought for the shirt those other twats never did. While Golding is a good prospect we now a shed load of goals and assists down. Glover has his worked cut out to replace them on a budget.
-
Chelsea fans seem slightly upset by this so I’ll take that. We are where we are and need to kick on and start making better decisions.
-
The fact no players have been mentioned seems strange. Maybe we just wanted the cash upfront rather than instalments to comply. While I know we’d want that to happen 1st July makes no sense not to mention. It has to be £30m and that’s it. !
-
Brighton agreed £33million for Minteh. Paid £10m last years goes on loan to Feyeonord. No where near KDH level.
-
I get that and I’d imagine he’ll end up there as the players mentioned by Telegraph don’t mention him but Chelsea will way up their options with nothing signed I’d imagine Chelsea will do what’s best for Chelsea to get the player they want over the line. Also he’d be a downgrade on KDH so ideally we wouldn’t want this deal to compromise mostly of the £20 odd million the Omari is valued at, we need the cash to comply with PSR.
-
KDH was one of the best performing players in the Championship last year. Omari while doing well in a successful team his personal stats putting him outside the top ten in key metrics. KDH stats last year set him head and shoulders above Omari. However what u like about Omari is his versatility attacking mid - left right or centre - that could be useful for us.
-
Also the other reason for Chelsea’s interest is there manager. So makes sense.
-
He isn’t a 💩 player is a full international and played at the Euros. It’s that injury record that makes me wince. But I also thought the same about winks. I hate this I really do but trying to see the positives 😭

😭 Cooper has got his work cut out for sure. I hope he can galvanise what he’ll be left with. Fair play for taking the job.
-
He comes on a lot from the bench. Played well against France.
-
This will send a lot of their fans over the edge
-
But the unsubstantiated rumours also state that the fee we want for the player could be a stumbling block. So checks out then.

I’m not defending the ownership and it’s piss poor decisions of the past few years that have cost us dearly on the pitch and they’re seemingly couldn’t care less attitude to match going fans in trying to increase revenues to cover those poor decisions. But some fans live in fantasy land that we will some how be bought out by owners that won’t see it as a business that needs to be sustainable and have any long affinity or care for the fans that may have been going for their whole lives. The fact is with the current rules even the Saudi’s can’t spend huge sums to invest in the squad and will only come from long term infrastructure investment to increase revenues. Which billionaire will care for this provincial club to want to invest hundreds of millions to acquire and the spend hundreds of millions more over many years within the required infrastructure while funding the likely losses they’re few and far between I think people live in dream land personally. Your likely to get some kind of American Capital Investment group with faceless ownership structure that you want nowhere near a football club. I don’t think it’s as easier to say there are better owners out there. Even fan ownership is pie in the sky. The structure desperately needs to be looked at granted there is no way a forward thinking well run modern football club would have Rudkin doing the job he does with so many roles.

By the sounds of it he’s already at training ground as Cooper has mentioned this in his interview (correct me if wrong). Obviously working hard to prepare for next Season!
-
Great interview but he always has come across as grounded, intelligent and driven anytime he has spoken with the media. Looking forward to the season with a bit more positivity.
-
Refers to him likely come in if we can Potter in so old but clearly an interest is there.

The suggestion that there are a lot of Forest fans that didn’t like him is a nonsense. He is looked at like Pearson, most Leicester fans fondly remember Pearson with the odd weirdo. Cooper turned the club around in spite of the Chairman. He isn’t the most inspiring option, I get that but it’s unjustified to right him off his record is respectable.
-
Typical FoxesTalk knee jerk experts. He did ok against an outstanding Saka with one mistake, has had a good season in Italy it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s in our squad or moved on as an asset but Luke Thomas is no where near his level.
-
It would certainly be exciting to watch us trying and failing to pass around the back conceding multiple goals when we get pressed high every game against better premiership opposition.

You were saying 🤪
